I hear you. It’s too rich to eat a lot of at a time and the wife says I don’t need it too often but she doesn’t like to bake much anymore.

I’ve got my daughter shamed into baking one and bringing it over every Christmas and Easter. lol

Actually, there was only one Pi day, which was 3/14/1531 at 4:15, if you don’t count abbreviated years.

I think more than 3.14% of the population likes pie. But perhaps only 3.14% can tell you the value of pi to 4 figures after the decimal point.

There will be another pi day in 2016 even if not quite as precise.

What is really cool is that is non repetitive not unlike infinity. Both are purely mathematical concepts. Isn’t the human mind wonderful?

I know what you mean. My birth town is 12,000 miles from where I live now, but a tunnel through earth would be only 4000 miles long haha.

A country boy from Alabama is talking with his brother, home from college during Spring Break, and asks him what he learned in college.

His brother says "Ive learned some algebra". The boy says "Go ahead and speak me some algebra"

His brother replies "Pi R squared"

The boy yells "AHA....you ain't learned nothin'.....Pie are round....cornbread are square."

Pi is the sixteenth letter of the Greek alphabet, translated into English; and represents a quantity for which no one has the exact numerical value in the decimal system—only a quite precise one good enough for most calculations requiring the knowledge of just where the center of a circle is.
