The House on Tuesday admitted defeat after a month-long effort to defund President Barack Obamas executive action on immigration, and passed a Department of Homeland Security funding bill that leaves Obamas plan intact.
The vote came after dozens of House Republicans fought to the bitter end to reject the clean DHS bill, in an effort to oppose what they see as an unconstitutional action from Obama. The House passed the bill 257-167, and sending it to the White House for Obamas signature into law.
In the end, 167 Republicans voted against the Senates version of the bill. But because the bill was supported by every Democrat, only 30 or so Republicans had to support it to ensure its passage, and 75 GOP members voted for it.

Thanks for the List of Traitors.
McSally, Martha
Voting to table the bill is still waving the white flag to me.
Thanks for posting.
Since, as a Nation, we are determined to commit suicide, they might do it and get it over with.
Will Hurd, newly elected RINO forTX 23rd.
I think that voting to table the bill means that, had the tabling motion passed, there wouldn't have even been a vote on the budget. So a "yes" vote would have been a vote to keep the buget vote from even occurring.
I see that my sorry RINO Rep Olson voted Nay, on the passage, with the Dims.
And Ted Poe iswas one of my guys. Eye-opening, to say the very least.
“So 98-75 = 23 Republicans voted to allow the vote and then turned around to vote against it. I wonder who the 23 are?”
Well, one of the 23 was Renee Ellmers of NC. She is very pro-amnesty, but has taken so much heat lately that—after making sure she did her part to facilitate Boehner’s bringing the amnesty vote to the floor—she joined in the show vote to have a record of voting against amnesty (after voting to ensure that Boehner’s amnesty vote would go forward).
And they will still expect us to show up next time saying, “Hey we’re not the Democrats vote for us.” But the they are the f%^king Democrats - just with a different name.
My guy, Steve Stivers is on the yes list, which is surprising because he has always been a pretty faithful conservative vote. So, I am trusting him and his decision on this vote.
Wrong. They voted to table, and against.
Yea R Ryan, Paul WI 1st
165 GOP votes against.
Boehner is the new Nancy Pelosi.
Well, that not only give Obama the money for amnesty, but it yanks the rug out from under the lawsuits against executive amnesty.
Stick a fork in it. The Republic is dead.
Levin had a call in guest who was in on a conference call for the “Task Force for ‘New Americans.’” According to her report, the whole idea is to have a country within a country...very scary stuff. It was from last Thurs. show—archived on Levin’s website. Worth a listen.
Wait. Do you mean they voted not to table the bill? Cause if they voted TO table it, they voted correctly. I need to find out if Poe is a sellout or not. Still looking for the link to how they voted.
Rather than dragging that other thread where you are pushing the homosexual agenda, over to here, why don’t you just return to that other thread and not start pinging people to this thread to continue your argument?
I noticed Will Hurd (my rep)voted with the Democrats. I guess when it comes down to the hard choices Will Hurd is no different than Pete Gallegos. The Dem that we voted out this last election on the promise that if we could just get more Republicans in office we can really make a difference, and stand up to Obama.
