Some scientists believe this is a seed sent to earth by aliens
The never-before seen image shows a microscopic metal globe spewing out biological material feared to be an infectious agent.
Though the origin or purpose of the mysterious sphere is uncertain, experts say it could contain genetic material - the precursor to life.
They sensationally claim it could have been designed by an intelligent species to seed and propagate alien life on Earth.
It is the first time anything like this has been seen and points not only to the existence of extra-terrestrial life, but to complex and civilised beings watching our planet.
It follows findings that DNA capable of inserting itself into living creatures and replicating can exist in harsh space conditions.
A tiny plasmid, a circular strand of DNA used in genetic engineering, was sent into space from Sweden in 2011 on the exterior of a TEXUS-49 rocket.
The mysterious organism has baffled scientists After enduring 1,000C heat it was found to still be intact and with its biological properties when it returned to Earth.
Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe director of the Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology at the University of Buckingham in England, said it is further proof of alien life.

Classic movie!
Maybe this explains the collective insanity of the left, they really are infected with alien “stupid virus”.
In this case its conspiracy theory BS.
Proof there’s no God! Atheists rejoice!

Why do some humans possess such a cramped vision of the Creator and his works? Some with this limited reasoning tell themselves that if it isn’t found on earth it isn’t God’s creation. Yet, did he not create the boundless universe and everything within it? That fact alone is proof of his mighty powers and existence. Who or what else could have done it? And, do not tell me it was just a ‘big bang’ that spontaneously occurred out of nothing.

When was this seed supposedly discovered? I don’t see a timeframe in the article. Where and under what conditions is it being kept? What’s in the “biological ooze”? What’s being done with it, and by whom?
You’d think this would all be part of an article intended to make us believe we’ve been invaded.
So, that’s it!
Years ago, before my WWII service, as a freshman in college our Literature class was given an assignment to write a paper about anything we cared to write about. I chose the topic “Nothing’ and went on for about three pages why ‘Nothing’ was ‘Something’. The lady Prof. thought my rambling was unique but not worth an A.
A man ahead of your time! :-)
It has an intelligent creator but humans occurred by accident?
“Life on Earth originated on Earth ...”
You know this, how?
That sphere doesn’t look metallic to me. What kind of metal is it?
Classic movie and I admit I loved the sequel too. After seeing the original for the first time, I had trouble eating Brussels Sprouts. lol
Whatever that is, it sure likes our Bubble Gum.
No, Professor Milton Wainwright and his team from the University of Sheffield and the University of Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology.
I don't know what the magnification is on this microbe but it's made up of other
cells and microbes, and when you look close at those, they also are made up of
other cells or microbes, and on and on into infinity. As close as our technology
allows. There is just no way we or anything is just an accident.
Now go the other way and find the end of space. Even if we hit a wall there's
more wall behind it, or another expand, into infinity.
Faith is also infinite and is a gift from our Creator, The father of Christ.
Have an atheist try to explain love if we're just a random accident.
Or even go the other way and have them try to explain why we feel when
we lose a loved one, and how much pain it causes. That is the soul,
and that cannot be a random accident.
