Lindsey Graham: I Love Rudy but I Have No Doubt Obama Loves America by Andrew Kirell | February 22nd, 2015 On ABC’s This Week, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) became the latest Republican to get asked to creatively distance themselves from Rudy Giuliani‘s comments that President Barack Obama “doesn’t love” America.
Earlier Sunday, Gov. Mike Pence (R-IN) was asked by Fox to comment on the comments, because why not. His response: “I don’t think it helps to question the president’s patriotism or motives,” but, at the same time, Rudy’s a good guy.
If you guess that Graham’s comments wouldn’t be much different, you would be correct:
Well, I love Rudy, but I don’t want to go there. The nation’s very divided, President Obama has divided us more than he’s brought us together and I don’t want to add to that division. I have no doubt that he loves his country, I have no doubt that he’s a patriot. But his primary job as President of the United States is to defend this country, and he’s failing miserably.

Obama, by his own statements, did not love “America” as it was. Why else would he feel a need to “fundamentally change” it? That’s not something you want to do with something you love.

I have no doubt that a sizable percentage of politicians, including a significant number of Republicans, love their career more than they love their country. No doubt. I don’t know enough about Lindsey Graham to characterize him one way or the other.

Cowards....just turn the question around and ask, “If the pRez, or ANYONE, truly loves this country, why would he/they do things to destroy what has made this nation great....for 240 years?”

I like/tolerate Rudy but I have no doubt that Graham is a horse’s ass.
I would not expect any less from Graham. Obama may cut him off if he don’t defend him.
It is simple, one does not change (fundamentally transform) what one loves. If you love key lime pie, you do not change the recipe to use rhubarb. Obama has stated that he wants to transform America. Therefore, he does not love America.
It is really just that simple.
