Left-wing comedian Bill Maher ripped into his own liberal “tribe” in the wake of Wednesday’s Islamist massacre in Paris, accusing them of turning America into a “pussy nation” through their refusal to highlight Islam’s illiberalism.
Maher appeared Wednesday night on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss the slaughter, which saw twelve Parisians killed in a revenge attack on satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo after it ran cartoons mocking the Islamic prophet Mohammed.
“We have to not avoid who did this,” Maher began. “Who did this, Jimmy?”
“Well, we presume —” Kimmel said uncomfortably.
“No, it’s not a presume!” Maher said. “It’s Muslim terrorists. This happens way too frequently. It’s like Groundhog Day, except if the groundhog kept getting his head cut off.

Right or not, nothing that Bill has to say matters to me.
I’ve been a good example of it myself a couple of times.
True, however when our political enemies have finally seen the light and they're ripping into their own, we should be encouraging them.
Maher's right that the left has been making this nation into a bunch of politically correct pussies. He see that on this issue and we need to encourage him to expand his view.
He'll wake up one of these days and when he does, the left is in big, big trouble. Maher has a big mouth and he loves to fight. Personally I'd love to see him ripping into the left once he's "woken up."
And I am sure Maher was 100% behind Bush and the way he dealt with the goat humpers.
Truth should always matter, no matter who is saying it. Ignoring truth from people you don’t like isn’t a good way to go through life.
Prior to the Nazis attacking Russia the Left failed to confront them as well.
I’m sure Bill would point out that Saddam, while a bad guy, was not an Islamofascist, but the leader of a Secular movement called the Ba’athists. whom the Islamofascists had it in for for years.

I must have missed it, but I am betting you are just being hard on yourself.
I think if you look at the big picture of the West vs. Islam, all Americans agree with some basic principles Islam opposed. Free speech, for example. And women being allowed to be educated and not cover themselves in public or have their genitals mutilated.
I’ve seen several liberals ‘wake up’ and ask, “Why are leftists in America backing the women oppressing, gay murdering nutball Muslims?”
This is a GOOD thing.
Heard any of our congress critters use that kind of language?

The WH has already surrendered to Islam, this can’t be stopped. While Europe is marching saying “We are not afraid”, the WH is saying “We are not only afraid of Islam, we are against anyone who speaks out against the Prophet Muhammed” Our administration is siding with radical Islam, and the Left Wing that worships Obama loves radical Islam also.
And Bill ain’t right too damn often.
