You’re right of course what’s evregious though is that these kids are being forced to visit a Mosque in the first place. It’s not the Mosque’s fault that there is a code, no matter how barbaric, dictating hiw women dress insixe the building. I have no problem with that.
I DO have a problem with them forcing kids to go there in the first place.
My kid would not being going on that field trip.
Bullshit.. That is child abuse!
Exactly, and without a doubt a Title IX issue.
And in my opinion a few other that and other issues with this as well.
Aren’t liberals all about separation of church and state? /rhetorical
I saw plenty of my classmates wearing them back then.
I’m Catholic and have seen women in churches here in sleeveless tops quite often in the summer. I’ve never been to Italy, but I have heard that the churches there have a dress code (IIRC that includes no shorts, no sleeveless tops, etc.). I’ve read that some women entering churches in Italy still wear a mantilla or something on their head (something we haven’t done here in many years).
I agree. No way my kids would attend this field trip.
BTW, where there other field trips to churches/synagogues or Hindi or Bhudest temples? B’hai garden? No? I didn’t think so
Something is amiss. Dougco has a conservative Board who booted the teachers union.
Common Core IS indoctrinating our children into Islam. Remember, “Barack knows. We have to change our conversation. We have to change our history. We have to go to a different place.”
Obama held a large meeting of History professors in 2010, IIRC, early. That threw colleges into a huge mess for what constituted basic education—all across the land.
K-12? Just look at the handouts and what’s in the texts.
One more thing.....Send their lunches with BLTs or ham sandwiches.
Sherman, respectfully, you are high.
“That field trip is entirely appropriate, IMO.”
No
Know your enemy is a prime maxim”
I know, and many know, the enemy already. Know it very well.
Headcarves? I guess that is a pretty good way to describe a muslim practice.
problem is when discussing and studying “world religions”, will there be ANY honesty?
Of course not. So it’s a waste of time. A feel good at best.
And if you were FORCED to go?
My niece Gabrielle is getting married in April.
If this had happened in their hometown, my soon-to-be nephew by marriage would had gladly taken a dump on their prayer rug and Gabbie would have gladly hiked her skirt and mooned them just for good measure of course.

Marvel’s coming out with a new female Muslim superhero who can fly.
It’s a good thing too, because she’s not allowed to drive.
LOL!
From the joke thread in question:
Q: Why do you take off your shoes when entering a mosque?
A: So your shoes won’t get dirty, of course!
