Full title: Denver: Schoolgirls Forced to Wear Headcarves, Ankles Must Be Covered on School Trip to Denver Mosque
Sharia in the classroom.
School girls at a Douglas County public school in Colorado are being forced to cover up from head-to-toe to visit a mosque on a school mandated Common Core trip. There are no requirements to visit a Greek Orthodox cathedral or synagogue.
Here again we see that anywhere American law and Islamic law conflict, it is American law that has to give way.
The subjugation and oppression of women are enshrined under the sharia. Young school girls should not be forced to respect a dress code that represents honor violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, child marriage, et al.
I appeared on the Peter Boyles Show this morning and we discussed the concern of parents who had contacted him asking for help in opposing this sharia in the classroom. Here is a copy of the instructions parents were given:
The world religions field trip is next Tuesday, January 13. We will be visiting the Denver Mosque, the Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and the Rodef- Shalom Synagogue. We will then eat lunch at Park Meadows Food Court.
"Students must either bring a sack lunch or money to purchase lunch at the food court."
"THERE IS A DRESS CODE FOR THIS TRIP: All students must wear appropriate long pants. Ankles must be covered. Girls must bring wide scarves or hooded sweatshirts for the mosque"
You can contact the Douglas County school board here. Be polite.
The islamization of our public schools is well-documented in my book Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance.
If this is really mandated by common core, then there is no doubt that common core is unconstitutional. How can you force a person to enter a religious edifice that is alien to their own beliefs, cater against their will to the someone elses rules, customs or dress?

this is common core:

Common Core Not State Led Heres Proof

My kids would have to be absent that day. I want them to have a healthy hatred of Islam, as Western kids should have. I rank it up there with hating Satanism, Nazism, and other forms of despotism, brutality, cruelty, and human slavery.
No, really. It does.
This double standard has to go. A full investigation should be conducted and those responsible censured or fired.
Too bad there isn’t a frying bacon scented perfume.
however, they would have to cover their arms. I was unable to visit a cathedral in Florence Italy as I had a sleeveless top on (not tank or tube, just sleeveless). I could have “rented” a scarf for a ridiculous amount of money for the quick trip inside or I was barred from entry. I stayed outside. So don’t tell me cathedrals dont have a dress code.
I don’t agree with the visit to the mosque, but if you go inside their building, you follow their rules. The problem lies with being forced by a public school to go inside their building. My kids would stay home as well. They are well acquainted with the inside of the only religious buildings (churches) that I want them to visit.
I don’t think I would have gotten mad about it. I just would have invited them to my favorite dumpling shop : Foo Quoo.
The mandatory field trip mandates visiting all three locations. The girls are required to wear mohammedan-specification clothing during their visit to the mohammedan hellhole. They are not required to do anything special during their visit to the synagogue or the cathedral.
Journalists don't know how to write.
This is NOT acceptable because the field trip is mandatory.
If the field trip was optional then I would have no problem with it.

That being said, IF my kids were in public school and this was a mandate, they would both be staying home and taking the grade. The only proper response is an empty bus leaving for this "field trip". Unfortunately, I'd say most parents wouldn't have the conviction to stand against it. It really is sad
Yup.
Parents should keep their kids home - but if for some reason they feel they cannot do so, they should at least send BLT sandwiches (with extra bacon) in their kids’ bag lunches.
They can “opt out” of the field trip to three religious worship locations - to a mosque, a Greek Orthodox Church and a synagogue.
If they go, girls only must adhere to Islamic dress.
Special dress for one gender, but not the other.

Title IX violation?
Sorry, but this is an idiot article.
Students are not being forced to cover up in class. They’re being asked to respect the rules when they are on a field trip to private property.
That field trip is entirely appropriate, IMO.
“Know your enemy” is a prime maxim. Sadly, that’s probably not how the trip is being presented. But that’s the problem of the general teaching environment, not of this trip.
On the other hand, exposing students to world religions is presumably implicit on a course on World Religions, so it seems absurd to claim a religious exemption.
The field trip is not mandated. Students can be given an alternative assignment. Students will also be visiting a Roman Catholic church.
Now I know what I’m getting my kid for Christmas next year!
