As this inflammatory episode unfolds, folks comfortable chanting, What do we want?! Dead cops! may find much less tolerate reception nationally in the wake of this assassination of two NYPD officers!
Saturdays assassination of two New York Police Department officers (whose killer, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, committed suicide immediately afterward ) is a shock which will hopefully shake some sense into protesters chanting, Hands Up! Dont Shoot! and I Cant Breathe! Its rumored he was a fugitive and even posted on Instagram, They Take 1 Of Ours Lets Take 2 of Theirs, and ended his tirade with, This May Be My Final Post before going on a murder spree!
The motive seems to be revenge for the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
No decent person can support shooting people seated in a car. Any anti-police brutality activist supporting such lethal sneak attacks only proves that he is a criminal masquerading as an advocate. Whether this bizarre murder/suicide can be explained away as other than homicidal outrage over recent high profile deaths, will be a circus of lies worth watching!

Watch this protest movement get a lot less support now that the protest movement actually inspired someone to do something so unbelievably horrific.
Arrest those race-baiters and agitators who set this mood...you know...sharpton, nobama and holder.
So this wasn’t a story until you shamelessly blogpimped it?
The problem with that statement is that EVERY time an officer has to kill a lawbreaker who attacks him/her, the family of the deceased is going to want an officer killed. So, why don't we just get the civil war started? Unless someone is leadership makes it clear that this thinking will NOT be tolerated, this nation is about to see a level of violence it has never seen in its history.
“...this nation is about to see a level of violence it has never seen in its history.”
I fear you are right.
Got a long way to go to match the slaughter of the 1860’s
It has the potential of not only matching the slaughter of 1861-1865, but exceeding it, and possibly exponentially.
The Civil War was still, even with the carnage, a gentlemen’s war (i.e., there was still a sense of honor, and great efforts were made NOT to attack non-combatants — though in a few rare instances that did occur — and the sides were clearly drawn). A modern civil war (and I mean civil war in the truest sense of the term, with all its attendant horrors) would pretty much be without observable rules of engagement, where there are no limits on barbarism, where anything goes; it would be like the disintegration of the Balkans and the Rwanda nightmare on steroids.
Scream all you want about racial and religious profiling but the last few months with the attacks on the police they have no choice now. It is about staying alive on the job.
The sad thing is this community has not figured out they are nothing but pawns in some game by liberal democrats. I guess the idiots think if they destabilize the US we will give up our guns and just hand over control. What non-black with an IQ above 10 wants to give up their guns now to be attacked at will by racist thugs and trust dems with their safety????
These last 8 years have been the dumbest political moves I have seen since Carter. This is not going to end well for a whole community to stupid to see how they are being used by people whose lives mean nothing to their leaders and can be willingly sacrificed for their agenda(because lets face it what is the worst case scenario). It will not end well for dems either, it is not going to gain them what they want. It is going to do horrible harm to every black in America for a very long time, even those who do not deserve it.
In a worse case scenario the other communities begin defending themselves from this community and then start attacking in revenge. The problem for dem politicians and the media is that they are the leaders of this movement and look at NY....think the police will come running now to help? Dems are being led off a cliff they seem to not understand the dangers of where they are possibly heading worse case scenario. It is some of the saddest, most bizarre and dangerous political moves I have ever seen.
Those of us who have lived in St Albans, VT see it a little differently.
Things are so much better now we have a black president.

You’re kidding, right? Three casualties? That’s it? Hell, Sherman’s actions were responsible for the deaths of THOUSANDS of Southern civilians due to privation, starvation, and disease (his concept of Total War). However, he did not specifically order the deaths or murders of civilians, nor would he ever have considered it (though, he would have had no qualms about hanging journalists, whom he utterly despised).
Exactly. That furthers my point that the war was not a gentlemanly affair.
“Exactly. That furthers my point that the war was not a gentlemanly affair.”
I disagree. Overall, the American “Civil War” was very much a Gentlemen’s War. There were aberrations, as there always have been. But taken in its totality it was fought along some very moral and ethical rules of engagement. A true civil war is usually fought without restraints, and thus they are generally more terrible.
Think about it: At Appomatox the victorious North paroled the vanquished Southerners, and ordered their troops to treat the defeated Southerners with compassion and respect. That’s how gentlemen fight wars. Politicians, on the other hand, have no honor, and will happily engage in any manner of mischief against the vanquished (as was the case with Reconstruction).
I think the war (like most) has plenty of examples of both. It’s of hard to imagine the survivors Andersonville would think the war was gentlemanly.
You are correct, but no one is listening.
and the assassination of the two cops (both minorities note) was pure evil AND racist
“Its of hard to imagine the survivors Andersonville would think the war was gentlemanly.”
You mention Andersonville (after all, the victors get to write the histories), but you fail to mention Camp Douglas in Illinois.
You’re drunk, right?
