Got shocking e-mail from our school's director just an hour ago that one of my son's classmate's mother died yesterday!

Please pray to God for help and blessings!

That is shocking, as a first/second grade mother has to be very young. Too young for this. And how painful that will be for her husband and little boy. Prayers for them all, including her sister. And for you and all who knew her and know the family.

So sad for a young mother to go so early, and especially at Christmas time. I know the heartache, as my father was buried on Christmas Eve. For what it’s worth: What helped get me through was having Christmas be about Christmas. Of course, my father was mentioned, but his tragic death did not take over everyone’s joy. Life went on.
