I have been away since the last general election, but since we cleaned up in this midterm, I have been getting back into the news and politics a little more.
Anyway, I was reading a globull warming article's comments on some website, and one of the comments was from a physicist named Harry Dale Huffman. He used an equation to show that there is almost NO difference between Earth and Venus when it comes to atmospheric temperature, even though Venus has an atmosphere composed almost entirely of CO2.
With indisputable math, he is able to show absolute proof that there is NO WAY CO2 emissions can be causing any kind of atmospheric temperature changes.

Earths temperature at the surface is 288 Kelvin. (15 C). The atmospheric pressure at the surface of the Earth is 1000 millibars. The temperature of Venus at 1000 millibars is 339 Kelvin (66 C) Using only the distance from the sun, we can determine that Venus should be about 17.6% hotter than Earth in degrees Kelvin. (explanation below) BIG NEWS: Venus’s temperature at 1000 millibars is almost exactly the same as Earth’s … based solely on the distance from the sun. (differing only by about 0.5%.) The temperature comparisons continued to hold true all the way from 1000 millibars through 200 millibars, varying by a maximum of 5% and by less than 1% in most cases.

Well, Wikipedia says, “Despite the harsh conditions on the surface, the atmospheric pressure and temperature at about 50 km to 65 km above the surface of the planet is nearly the same as that of the Earth ...”, so that’s food for thought.

Right. At 1k millibars (surface of the Earth), it is almost exactly the same as the Earth (given distance from the Sun).
This totally blew my mind. If this can somehow get out to the world, AGW is goin’ bye bye.

Why do we have to go to Venus to affirm what is happening here on Earth? The argument makes sense, but here are the flaws. How was the CO2 concentration measured on a planet so far away? The argument makes sense but is unnecessary. What about all the other “facts” quoted about the planet? We have all we need here on Earth to debunk all the crap about carbon dioxide. This is not about truth; this is about political correctness, about a loss of freedom and about control. Enough already.
The pressure on Venus is tremendously different than the pressure on the surface of the Earth.
One of the first space probes, sent by the Russians, was crushed like a beer can underneath the foot of THE HULK when it landed on Venus.
I agree, but in order to stop it, we need some kind of proof that their "consensus" is full of crap. Make no mistake, they are still moving forward with their climate change BS as quickly as possible. We are giving the UN a whole lot of money for this, and we are going to lose more and more freedom as it goes on. The quicker we get this sorted out, the less freedom and money we lose to it.

The author is trying to compare the atmosphere at the surface of the Earth to the atmosphere of Venus 50-65 km UP.
Not a valid comparison to try to use to prove the point.
Water vapor is THE most prevalent greenhouse gas by a fantastically huge margin!!!
P.S. And there's plenty of it!!!
Take away the increase in temps due to solar proximity, and the temps are equal to Earth's.

Go read the article. There is NO water vapor on Venus, yet the temps are the same.
Greenhouse gasses (including water vapor), as it turns out, are pure unadulterated balogna. :)
I love thermodynamics....this was an actual problem we had to solve in one of my classes (back in the dark ages when slide rules were our trusty side kicks).
And hence AGW is false like all other EPA ‘science’

Using the guy’s own data from the excerpt puts the lie to his entire premise.
15*C is less than 25% of 66*C
288*C is 85% of 336*C
He claims 17.6% is the same as 15%.
Fraud and charlatan. No better than the liars promoting CAGW/climate change. “Close enough” isn’t.
the use of the Stefan-Boltzman relation (from article) to theoretically and apparently closely verify this result is stunning.
