St. Louis area schools and townships are warning residents to stock up on water, food and medicine before the Mike Brown court decision.
Local officials fear a violent response to the St. Louis County Courts decision.
Over three dozen businesses were vandalized and looted during the Ferguson rioting in August.
The City of Berkeley, near Ferguson, released this statement warning residents to stock up on water, food and medicine before the verdict is announced.
*Make sure you have plenty of bottled water (a gallon per person per day), and non-perishable, easy-to-access food in case you cannot get to a local store for a few days.
PCS School in St. Louis City sent home this warning to parents. Teachers will help students catch up with their homework if parents decide to keep their kids at home following the courts decision.
Kirkwood School Superintendent Dr. Tom Williams sent a memo out to parents this week.
St. Louis County sought a federal bailout for the more than 100 businesses harmed during the Ferguson rioting and looting.

St. Louis area churches also urged people to stock up on medication, food, water, working flashlights, batteries and to keep vehicles filled with fuel in case access to basic services and necessities are interrupted due to unrest.

I know Kansas City is expecting snow on Saturday. Not exactly a snow storm but maybe enough to keep people indoors. Not sure if St. Louis has the same forecast. Might be a good day to announce. People usually flood the stores the day before so most people would be stocked for a few days if needed.
They don't do welfare checks any more. They put more funds in your EBT card.

They've charged their phones so they can call 911. The cops will be there to rescue you just as soon as the riots quiet down.

LOL! I hadn’t thought of that. You’re right! I think this weekend would be the best time to announce. Or even Friday night since it will be so bitter cold!! Should put a big damper on any looting plans.

Maybe all those Missourians that voted against the transportation sales tax should bail out those businesses instead. They have that money they weren’t willing to spend to improve their own roads.

I can’t stand these people (hoodlums). If they riot, somebody should take off and nuke them from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
