Over three dozen businesses were vandalized and looted during the Ferguson rioting in August.
The City of Berkeley, near Ferguson, released this statement warning residents to stock up on water, food and medicine before the verdict is announced.
*Make sure you have plenty of bottled water (a gallon per person per day), and non-perishable, easy-to-access food in case you cannot get to a local store for a few days.

Isn’t it a crime to ‘incite riot’?
Make sure you have plenty of guns and ammo on hand, too!
Firehose and one of those pentagonal wrenches.
And markers and cardboard for making good protest signs.
just announce it the day before welfare checks come in
that was the exact day the riots over Rodney King stopped (and there was actually more reason for the Rodney King riots)
Well they pretty much have let everyone know the decision.
Hopefully this has been “leaked” and prepared for long enough now that the reaction will be anticlimactic when its official.
Still hoping they announce it during a rip roaring snow storm.
Any threat to innocent peoples lives or property should be met with deadly force. They will announce this on Sunday while Schools are not in session. Officer Wilson is a wonderful public servant and,of course, will not be indicted but that damned Eric Holder is fully responsible for stirring up this fire and the blood will be on his hands.
Ping!
A 30-06 with several 100 rounds is a better start!
Excellent idea.
Hold those cheques until there is complete calm.
You’re right.
They are all but telling people to riot.
I’d like to know why the outside Union agitators in Wisconsin, that vandalized our State Capitol building, were never charged with anything? The Capitol Police Chief WAS fired and replaced. I guess that’s a start.
Yes, inciting a riot is a crime:

Stock up on your microwave riot control devices
I am thinking full gas tanks, plenty of cash might be useful.
“Still hoping they announce it during a rip roaring snow storm.”
You know, I was just thinking the same thing. Really hope the weather is cold and foul that day, and hopefully for several days after that.
Exactly. They should announce that, whenever the verdict is read, there may be immediate curfews announced, and those breaking the curfews will be arrested unless they can prove they were going to or from their employment.
