Snow build up in Siberia is 2nd highest on record going back to 1967. The theory discussed says that this signals a cold winter for the Northern Hemisphere including North America as this increases the likelihood for Polar air to spill southward.

No kidding! I could have predicted that myself. In my pajamas. While reading a mystery novel.

So...this model must be a right-wing, hysterical concoction intended to disprove proven Global Warming settled science, huh?

More global warming I see. Increased ice packs in the Arctic and Antarctic regions are more evidence of warming too.

Polar air!?
Spilling southward!?
During Winter!?
Like, like in the form of a Canadian coldfront!?
This is unprecedented!?
Oh my God, we did not elect enough demoncrats in the election to save us from this fate!

The Farmer’s Almanac also calls for a very cold winter. Maybe the climate modelers have a link in their code to the Almanac.

It is going to be 21 degrees in Tulsa tomorrow.

I know a few people who seriously believe that man made global warming causes cold weather. It puts one at a loss for words except, goodbye.

If it be G-d’s will; my wife and I will be out of Red Hampshire and back to the south within a few weeks.

Here in Northern Colorado it’s, 1 degree with windchill, right now. We usually don’t have that kind of cold till January

I’m waiting for the pundits to connect the NE polar outbreak with the remnants of the intense Pacific Hurricane.
Global Warming causes super hurricanes. Super hurricanes cause polar outbreaks. See, they were right! Global warming causes Global Cooling /s

I had a discussion with my annoying brother last night. He's all concerned about Global Warming. Last year's Polar Vortex was strong evidence of the warming trend. And this coming winter there is a phenomenon -- quite separate from the Polar Vortex, he tells me -- which is causing unprecedented cold temperatures. Proving, again, that Global Warming is a very real and serious threat.
I said: "It's called Winter. It's not new."
He finds me very dense and hard to talk to.

Well, as my high-school algebra teacher would say when we weren’t grasping a concept he was trying to teach: “It’s gonna be a loooooong, cooooold winter.”

It might be cold here but it is going to be hot in the southern hemisphere. Caused by global warming no doubt.

Your brother is an idiot!
Sorry. Just be happy the stupid all went to him.
