Looks set up. I highly doubt all or even most of the soldiers from countries that donate troops to the UN enjoy the duty or support the UN’s BS.

Looks like a typical post-1970s US-issue helmet to me...the cloth camo cover typically seen in US service hides its resemblance to the classic German “coal scuttle” helmet.
