Yes, the 2016 race for the White House has already gotten started -- and it looks like Dr. Ben Carson is first in the ring.
Carson, a famous pediatric neurosurgeon and conservative political star, will air a nearly 40 minute-long ad introducing himself to the American people this weekend, an aide to Carson confirms to ABC News.

He said something about the 2nd amendment not applying to the inner-cities. Since he hasn’t been around long, it is hard to gauge his record.
Not sure if he is ready for (or expects to get), the top slot.
He should have run for something this cycle.
Who better to lead the repeal of Obamacare than a brilliant doctor.
And it will be tough, but not impossible, for the left to play the race card if he’s the nominee.
Carson is in my top 5!
yup It’s Herman Cain 2.0
I’ve heard some stuff he said on the 2nd Amendment that are a dealbreaker for me. Running for POTUS after one speech? I think we need a little more.
Let the character destruction of this good man begin! How quickly can the left Palinize a brilliant doctor? Let’s find out!
He will add a lot to the debate, especially regarding to health care, but I really think he needs to run for elective office at a lower level and gain his bona fides to be viable.
An amazing man, I’d be proud to vote for him.
Pass.
Next!
I really like and respect him. But I just don’t think America will elect another black President in 2016. Possibly later down the road. I hope he will run then. He’s a good man.
I hope he doesn’t run. Dr. Ben Carson is an admirable person. I’d hate to see his good name dragged through the mud.
For that reason alone, please don’t run for president, Mr. Carson. (Of course, if he does, I’ll probably vote for him.)
A) We have NEVER elected a president without at least some government experience. Barack Obama and Abraham Lincoln were probably the two least qualified in that regard and we all know what happened there. (B) We will probably not see another black president in at least a generation. Is that fair? Perhaps not, but there it is.
If he isn’t Bohemian Grove approved he’ll never win it or even get nominated.
He’s a brilliant man, but has no chance for the presidency right now. I’d love seeing him run for the House, though.
Ben Carson will never be elected President, but he’s squeeky clean unlike Herman Cain. He might be able to start the process of cracking into the black democrat vote though, but only ever so slowly.
He’s a good communicator, he will get black ears, and perhaps many will find conversion and revelation through him.
> A) “We have NEVER elected a president without at least some government experience. Barack Obama and Abraham Lincoln were probably the two least qualified in that regard and we all know what happened there. “
There you go again! Blaming it on Abe!
Do it...
“Ben Carson will never be elected President, but hes squeeky clean unlike Herman Cain. He might be able to start the process of cracking into the black democrat vote though, but only ever so slowly.”
We all thought Herman Cain was squeaky clean because like Carson....he was never vetted!
