In 2012, 226 House districts voted for Mitt Romney and only 209 for President Obama. Thats when Obamas national job approval was 50 percent. Now its 41 percent. ...
The result is that Republicans are likely to gain House seats. A net gain of eight puts them at 242, the number they won in 2010 and their highest number since the election of 1946. A net gain of nine or more would give them their largest House majority in two-thirds of a century.

It makes me want to cry......

I keep telling myself that Romney was considered by a lot of experts to be a sure thing at this point two years ago.
So I see high expectations articles like this and cringe.
>>Republican House Dominance Will Expand in 2014<<
From your post to God’s monitor.
Yeah that’s just great, but if the Repubs continue under the “leadership” of Boehner to act like Obama’s doormats, it’s all meaningless.
I remember that.
So I see high expectations articles like this and cringe.
Yep. The thing that they're not taking into account is that the Republican Party's unwillingness to stand for anything.
That alone is strong argument not to vote for them.
There is no reason to think the RATS’ fraud proficiency hasn’t expanded since ‘12.
What good did the last GOP house majority do? The GOPe will sandbag any true conservative efforts unless there is a conservative revolt and takeover in the Leadership.

Please don’t drag me into “it was better to vot for oboama by not voting at all” argument.
They are so tiresome.
I don’t like the GOPe and the 95 percent of the Republican congressional winners who will be John Boehner’s slaves, but I accept that this assessment of the situation is probably correct.
If I were a left leaning Democrat I would be angry with Obama and I would be disillusioned enough to stay home and not vote at all.
Millions of grassroots Dems have been given 30 hour work weeks and higher health insurance costs, along with a double digit inflation rate for food.
They see a president “ending wars” only to be starting a new one in the Middle East.
Obama’s vote was down in 2012 and the congressional vote should be down in 2014 as well....
The Senate could end up a draw as I see it right now, but the GOP should gain 3-5 seats there as best I can see....
Please dont drag me into it was better to vot for oboama by not voting at all argument.

Yes, very tiresome. I question the motives of some of those people.
menthops is an extreme N00B, too.
I think the House predictions are more accurate than the Senate ones but the GOPe is putting out a lot of over the top positive spin.
Its the old propaganda tactic of trying to create a bandwagon effect to suck us critics and cynics into “voting for the winner” or making us think our apathy or lack of voting may cause the GOPe candidates to lose on November 4th.
RINO websites, talk show hosts, Fox News Channel and trolls here on FR are all accomplices in the propaganda campaign to create momentum for the GOPe.
The let down may come quickly with a lame duck amnesty passing session right after the election or maybe right up against the holiday season to reduce public attention being paid to the amnesty deal.

BS. There are more here trying to demoralize and persuade people not to vote. You sound like one of them.
The words “Republican” and “Dominance” don’t belong in the same sentence.
I am voting and I intend for vote for my Republican state senator who is an authentic Taxed Enough Already Party reformer.
But for other candidates including governor here in PA, I intend to write-in conservatives.......
