nice to get all the weirdos and extremists in the government where we can keep an eye on them
Sometimes “they” just don’t “get it” do they?
I have the same problem with various observers and critics of my memes and graphics sometimes. I work hard to come up with an idea I can convert from words to an image, to be sarcastic or funny or partly true and partly not or subtly jab at a long-held off limits subject, and I get, “Is that how you spell that?” Some people are too right brain or anal and others can see the humor right away. I think it is the “forest for the trees” kind of thing too.
Great job. It’s difficult being so “good” isn’t it? :-)
P.S. Can I ask you a question? Why did you change from the Looking Spoon to CRASHR? Just curious.
If the GOP candidate running for governor had a clue, he would be all over this like flies on dog poop.
Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner.
California has ALWAYS been an arid state!
Instead, Neil Kashkardashian spends all his ad buys showing kids drowning, allegedly because Jerry Brown hates schools or something.
CLUELESS !!!
We have plenty of water here in New England this week that they can have.
But...............,.,
WE HAVE BANNED PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS!!!
This should have solved ALL of Cali's problems.
Why isn't it raining?
Maybe the governor and the legislature should finish the high speed rail to nowhere. Surely that will bring precipitation.
“Why isn’t it raining?”
Raining like a cow pissin on a flat rock up north here today.
You get the A+.
The first written part of that ad goes by so quickly that you don't even get that it's about schools until the end. All you see in the beginning is the child drowning-Ughhhhhhh, makes me cringe.
As I recall Kashkari is the Gope's winner of its efforts to crush the Tea Party. Brilliant.
I ended The Looking Spoon at the end of last April. I was finding myself just posting other peoples graphics and creating less of my own. The idea well, frankly, ran dry for me because I grew tired of doing stuff with the shelf life of its news cycle. Also, I felt painted in a corner doing all conservative images all the time, and the pace at which I was blogging was something I no longer felt I could maintain.
In short it felt like the whole thing had run its course.
One of my goal with CRASHR is to do more original graphics that tackle subjects that don’t have the shelf life of the outrage du jour. As such, I’ve been trying to stick to topics on a more ideological and cultural level, and at a pace I can handle.
