This is, of course, intolerable to the Social Justice Warriors who insist that everything has to have a teachable moment
I thought killing bad guys and solving puzzles WAS a teachable moment!
It taught me a lot of things, mostly to stay away from Cottonwood Cove without being proper level.<>But it does have some timeless lessons to it too.
Because War. War Never Changes.
Because War. War Never Changes
indeed
;-)
The DLC is worth getting while were waiting for the next version
I don’t know much about games or gamers, but McCain hits the nail on the head when he calls Bob Costas a “dipsh*t”.
Interesting. Some of my family members are more involved with computer games than I am. (I mostly say, “Turn that off and get some schoolwork done, already!”)
When you lose it, you lose everything.
Looks like someone lost everything.

That's a pretty easy ball to hit, I don't care who you are.

As did I.
I’m not convinced gamergate should matter to anybody. It’s a stupid pissing contest gotten into by people whose egos far outsized their accomplishments. Everybody involved with it should feel shame, but they won’t.
About six months ago I started playing EVE Online. 95% male, completely cutthroat, Libertarian to the point of being anarchic....I love it.

I’m not a big gamer, but I cant stand Tumblr SJWs, so I’ve been following this as best as I can. One of my favorite YouTube commentators, Internet Aristocrat, did a 3-part series on this that really spelled out how bad this has become, and how wide the conspiracy.

(some saucy language)
As I recall, Paul Revere was a silversmith who made hoity-toity tea sets.
How's that for accomplishments?
Of course, he was an engraver, and helped to change the attitude of the country then... but as far as real accomplishments? Tea sets? Really?

The idea of objective journalism - gamer or otherwise - is indeed absurd - but most people dont understand that. And, accordingly, most people react as the author says below:I dont agree; the rage of gamers at being called a bunch of racist sexist bigots for being upset with this is precisely why Ed Morrissey and Breitbart ran pieces on GamerGate.
[It] is unfortunately a matter of public record [that] . . . hypocritical feminist game developer Zoe Quinn literally slept her way into getting a crappy game nobody wanted to play featured on Steam, and further, got lots of positive reviews and supportive essays from game site reviewers who she also happened to be boning.
. . . Gamers may even start casting a jaundiced eye on the rest of the media; as culture critic Maddox remarked, game media are now suffering a high-speed version of the credibility collapse that the mainstream media took decades to suffer through.
Sooner or later everyone who is not a leftist learns that any serious effort in the direction of objectivity will eventually run you afoul of OSullivans First Law:All organizations that are not actually right-wing will over time become left-wing.This is true because the left will put pressure on anyone to suppress their dissent, and the left will politicize anything. Thus, any organization not willing to be called right wing will become left wing just to get some peace.
Chamber pots.
You should try exploring the area directly east of Primm at a low level (I think it’s called Primm Pass). It’s safe, I promise!
