It is no surprise that young people are enamored of communism. Their teachers have been indoctrinating them for years into the utopia of “social justice,” “environmental justice,” the “evil” middle class, and the spectacular equality for all as envisioned by Marx, Engels, and Lenin.
Communism is “cool” in the land where wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt is a hypocritical political statement made while enjoying capitalist amenities. But we expect them to mature eventually and give up the absurdity that communism has not succeeded because the wrong people were in charge.

Yup, pretty much. I think these people who broadcast the wonders of communism have never been out of the country. I have, saw it first hand. Theres NOTHING presentable about communism...its for those who long to be slaves.

That is why its failures are always dismissed as “wasn’t implemented right”, because the current generation is always “smarter than anyone ever before”.
Yeah... but they “meant well”... it’s all in the name of “fairness” and “social justice” ... and “equality” after all.
What’s wrong with that? EVERY body wants those things, after all ... it’s just “common sense”... that’s what they tell us.

I agree about communism but much of Europe is fairly socialistic - although they can afford all those social programs partly because they have us as their military.
I have Dutch relatives - honestly, they have a whole lot less financial stress than I do.
Well the proper response to that statement is: "I know that Communism will work when it's imposed and managed by good Democrat leftists like Elizabeth Warren. But what happens when you've set up this perfect Communist Utopia and then the people decide to elect an evil Republican fascist like Ted Cruz or even Jeb Bush?"
If we were to take the total annual production of Cubans in America, treat it as a GDP and compare it to the GDP of Cuba under communism, what would be the multiple by which Cubans in America would have a greater GDP than Cuba itself? 20 maybe? It would probably be one the largest GDP’s of Latin America.
Communism succeeds every time it’s tried. It creates tyranny, misery, poverty, and squalor for the vast majority of the people. It creates luxury and power for the party elites.

There is one huge difference between all the communist demoniacs of the past two centuries and our own Democrat communists. Ours are the most ridiculous, idiotic, half-witted, lazy and incompetent leaders fools ever supported. Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Biden, Windy Davis, Maxine Waters, Moonbeam, Kerry, Gore.... No nation can survive with leaders like the communist Democrat Party produces. They will kill us all before it’s over.
Socialist economies can at least function in countries with more or less a homogenous single culture population, that has a strong work ethic.
It is an unmitigated disaster in multi-cultural countries.
