You can go to any major city in America,Houston,Dallas,Chicago,LA Calif,Denver,Miami, and many, many others and the problems these kids speak of happen right here in America..For example if you read the news .valleycentral.com.These headlines sound like typical day in countries these kids are from. When millions of illegals protesting keep our families toggether as such how many times do we read I left my country old abusive boyfriend or my family abused me.Kids in America have the same problems. Further I would ask,the child claims they leave family has no money or jobs.So where does a family come up with $4,000 from his family back home. ( . Ernesto worked his way north until he was seized by members of the Zetas cartel outside a Mexican border town. He was starved and beaten, while the Zetas extorted $4,000 from his family back home. He escaped, but three companions were killed when they balked at the cartels demands.) if calls were made to my family demanding $ 4,000 they will be out of luck or in for a long wait until money can be raised.Obama is sending these countries millions but where this money ends up is like trying to obtain IRS e-mails..One thing further in these countries where so many are poor and do not have very much in life. How do said people sit around thinking we are so poor and have so little this is the perfect time to have a child.Cannot support themselves but let us more kids. This logic does not add up.

'Life ended there' Rare interviews with the children Couldn't help but think of this: the interviews about "How Life Ended There" with the tens of millions of aborted infants in Heaven. I have no doubt that they have forgiven all who helped murdered them.
Sorry, didn't mean to change the subject - the title of this thing was compelling.

Ah-HAH! They found ONE of the juveniles. I suppose that justifies calling ‘all’ of them ‘children’, huh? /s
Why can’t they seem to produce stats or photos of the numbers of ‘children’ they allege are crossing the border?
Why the big secret? What are they hiding? (rhetorical, of course)

Children my ass.
McCaul visited a facility earlier this month in McAllen, Texas, where a group of immigrants was being held. He described the facility as a "refugee camp in the United States." Many of the illegal immigrants are teenage boys, he said.
"About 80 percent, though, of these so-called children are about 16 to 17 years old, most male. That, from a security standpoint, greatly concerns me," he said. "What are they going to be doing in the United States of America with no education? They can't speak English. That's the threat that I think a lot of people are concerned about."

... I was 16, the only under-aged girl and little, but those officers put handcuffs on me just like I was a criminal.... that's because you ARE a criminal! You broke laws - that's called being a criminal.

At some point we need to start making the engineers feel some pain.

How do said people sit around thinking we are so poor and have so little this is the perfect time to have a child.Cannot support themselves but let us more kids. This logic does not add up. They do that because their living conditions are so bad that a large number of children will not survive to the age of 5, much less adulthood. Americans and Europeans used to have large families for much the same reason. With economic development, living conditions improve and so does health, so more kids grow up and these people then choose to have fewer children. That is what happened when the countries that are now developed became that way.
About the kids coming up north: they are feeding into the human trafficking underground. The ones that get caught by border control are the lucky ones, if they get deported. Otherwise, they end up in virtual slavery--and it's hard to make the case that being a slave in the US (and being threatened and beaten for failing to work) is better off than being poor in their own country.

Sorry, the fact that this girl’s father was an abusive drunken jerk is in now way a politcal issue and those types of situations are not why there is political asylum.
You can find jerks like that all over the globe, from Lap Land to the South China Sea.
We’ve got them in the US too honey. And unless your dad is dead he’ll probably waltz over the border himself and hunt you all down here.
These people are all so poor, and they have nothing, but they have tens of thousands of dollars, or pesos, or whatever to pay to sneak their kids into the US.

Why isn’t the so called United Nations doing something about these brutal, murderous regimes in El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Ecuador and Mexihole? And why do WE keep sending them foreign aid? This is bull****! The apes down at the UN should at least pass “a resolution” or something!

“America’s border disaster”? Somebody has been hittin’ da happy smoke again! Why isn’t it Mexico’s” border disaster. I’ll tell you why. They have laws in Mexico and they aren’t afraid to enforce them. Thanks to the Kenyan, America has become just another lawless banana republic run by a two bit dictator and his commie cohorts.

Unless I’m mistaken, these Central American source nations are predominantly Catholic
And although some of these countries might not be on the best terms with the Vatican, is not a primary charge of the Church to care for the poor?
Instead of American Bishops exhorting their flock to take care of these kids after they get here in the name of “charity”, perhaps Pope Francis should exert some leverage of the hierarchy in these countries (or their leaders as a Head of State) to bring the focal point of charity where it belongs.

She, her sisters and mother were terrorized by an alcoholic father who abused them and stole the earnings from her mothers struggling grocery store to spend on liquor and women. Clearly, she belongs in Chicago, where she'd fit right in.
A lot of kids in the USA live horrendous lives. We really do NOT need to import more troubled teens.
If American families and neighborhoods and schools were in excellent shape, well-funded, loving, effective, perhaps we could afford to bring in other children.
But as it is, no adoption service would OK us to bring up adopted kids. We have so very much work to do to get America back on track.
