Banning the teaching and speaking of Spanish in Public Schools would expel many Illegal Alien Invaders from US Public Schools, and thus reduce the financial impact to US Taxpayers whose taxes pay for Public Schools.
The failure of the Obama Administration to protect the Citizens of the US from the expenses and job losses caused by the Invasion of Illegal Alien Invaders from Spanish-speaking countries proves that this Obama-caused "Dreamer" Invasion was implemented by Obama to "Fundamentally transform the United States of America."
An excellent place to start is for us to "encourage" our local "Independent" School Boards to ban all Public School programs that would, in any way, provide aid and comfort to the Spanish-speaking Illegal Alien Invaders.
the monies they collect for The Federal Gubment would dry up immediately if they stopped Allowing spanish in the gubment schools.
thats where push meets shove in this one....
Get real. This won’t happen, and you know it.
No...
It should be banned from Lowes, Home Depot, any phone menu, ballots and Social Security and welfare offices...
Boehner AND Obama simply love doormat citizens like you!
I am confoost. These people invading us speak Spanish already, as well do so at home, in the car, in the streets, at the movies, Costco, etc.
How is banning the teaching of their language to others going to benefit this situation?
My grandparents on both sides were Cajun, and French was their primary language. When my mother and father went to schools in Louisiana, French was forbidden, and all classes were in English. Somehow, my parents managed to 1) get a first class education and do very well in life, 2) keep speaking French when required, and 2) maintain a strong link to their heritage. Guess that makes the 1930s Lousiana far more advanced than the 2000s New York et al.
I don’t know if I’d condone banning Spanish in public schools, but I most certainly would push having ALL education classes in English. Spanish speaking children can receive extensive English training daily...and immersing them into the English classes will further aid the process.
Nothing will prevent them from being proud of their heritage, and nothing could or should prevent them from retaining their first-learned language.
On an aside note, any company that answers their phone with “Press X for Y language” looses my business.
Immediately.
Na, It ain't gonna happen.
Years ago I had a good friend who was a registered, licensed pharmacist who decided he was tired of counting out pills all day and wanted to return to medical school to become a doctor. Even with his excellent GPA, he could not get accepted to any medical schools in the USA.
So, he was forced to apply to the medical school in Guadalajara, Mexico...and was excepted.
As .foreigners”, Neither he, nor his wife, were permitted to work in Mexico. They had to sell their house and belongings and get loans to pay tuition.
All classes were taught only in Spanish, so no only did he have to learn medicine, he had to learn Spanish, as well.
A far cry from all of the exceptions we make for the Hispanics when they come to the USA...many of them, illegally.
But he made it, an for many years has been an accomplished emergency room physician.
If the Hispanics want to come here and succeed, they should, at least, go to the trouble to learn the language!
Would like to see Latin reintroduced.
The kids might actually learn something for a change.
Make “THEM” learn English. Spanish should be offered as a second language, logical. Courses, standard instruction at the K - 12 level should NOT be given Spanish, only in English.
I have a minor in Spanish. As long as schools are not teaching Latin, Spanish is the best gateway to comprehending Latin roots in English. You don’t really attain fluency in school Spanish classes, but you do at least get some mental exercise understanding grammar, roots, etc.
Don’t impede education of English speakers just to make a point. It’s not English speakers who take a year or two of Spanish while they are growing up who are aiding the illegal aliens, it’s native Spanish speakers who have learned some English.
***Would like to see Latin reintroduced.***
Is it anything like the Latin lesson in THE LIFE OF BRYAN?
Bi-lingual in the first 4 or 5 years ONLY to teach English which will be the only language spoken from that point on.
Will they be slower students because they spent 4 or 5 years learning English ?
Yup ... and tough jit about that ... the parents should have encouraged English (and perhaps learn(ed) it too)
I remember dating a luscious Puerto Rican girl back in the 60's that lived with a million aunts who spoke no English and I had to get their approval of me after the first date ... (we never had a second)
There was never a problem or social discussion about people that spoke no English back then because all the kids spoke English.
All obama wants to do is have all languages in the schools so there is no uniformity, and no nation. A great ball of confusion. Tha’ts all.
Remember its this cultural richness that will better America.
We need more pygmy cannibals and their culture from the Amazon. We need more turd worlders here to give Obama more advice to expedite his goals. More liberians and their constant state of confusion.
Muslims? We need more hard core terrorists advising America in global politics. yup, more left wingers, and nazis are needed. Its the cultural experience that will better us!
It will give us a better, stronger America!
My ancestors may have spoken German at home and in the community, but quickly learned to speak and read English. They believed in becoming Americans and learning English was seen as a duty to become a citizen. Their children were not coddled in school where they were expected to learn English even though they may have spoken a word of it at home.
That makes zero sense, why would you want kids in school not to learn a second or even third language?
Legal immigrants come from Spanish speaking countries to say “you speak Spanish get out”, is just stupid.
What next you’ll move on to other languages?
Ha!
In 20-30 years, they’ll be banning ENGLISH.
Ridiculous! Learning languages is a great thing for anyone. This seems to be an emotional “throw the baby out with the bathwater” reaction.
how many states have English as the official language?
We would need classes dedicated to teaching English to legal immigrant students.
How about no English; no driver’s licence?
