One of my readers sadly remarked that this is no longer America that she grew up in. And the change that occurred at a dizzying pace happened relatively overnight.
It was not a gradual transformation born by normal change over time; it was a fundamental forced transformation from a constitutional republic to a rule by a corporatist and international banking oligarchy that pulls the strings of the former branches of government, executive, legislative, and judicial.
A soft coup has occurred that had been planned for years, unbeknownst to most Americans who are still busy thinking that, if they just elect the right candidate this time and energize the vote in one more election, things will turn around and the rule of law will be restored. They are not taking into account the millions of illegal aliens who are registered to vote, the deceased vote, and those who are bussed from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador and dropped off in Arizona, including young children to be housed on military bases at considerable cost per child to the U.S. taxpayers. These children will be reunited eventually with their families here, doubling, tripling, and quadrupling any estimates of the illegal vote. The newly amnestied Dreamers have already cast their votes in the last presidential election and helped re-elect our President.

It can’t be revived without massive disobedience: state nullification is the only alternative to violence.
Well, what’s going on then? Take it back. What are you waiting for?
bkmk
We could say that it happened over the 20th century, really. Looking back, you can see how Marxism infiltrated the government, the higher institutes of education, art, and now the everyday child’s classroom. It changed the way we do banking, business, social reforms and society itself. Then came along Obama and pushed the pedal to the metal and BOOM! Here we are, dazed and confused. However, we were not ALL surprised nor are we confused. Some of us have been blogging about it for over 10 years now. The alarm that was sounded fell on deaf ears...and continues to do so to those who are democrats and many of the libertarians. They have been deluded over the years, even though they decried the government meddling, they still refused to do anything about it until it NOW is touching their OWN lives. That always gets a response!
How long BEFORE? You’re way too late.
Hasn’t it already?
“We began to lose it when Lincoln reinforced ft Sumter”
Amen, brother.
What makes you think Im waiting, b/c you are? Like I said get a backbone.
‘I firmly believe America is already past saving. A national Revival could welcome many souls into Jesus saving grace, but I just dont see this nation having that big a revival. Americans are way past that. They are well into me, me, me and how much they can get. Americans worship self, porn, drugs, booze, sports.’
I, like you, do not think a second Great Awakening will occur in our time. America can still be saved but it will take more then talk and voting.
So why haven’t you fixed the country yet?
She says it all. I wish she was wrong.
Started with TR and his "progressive" movement and Woodrow Wilson and the League of Nations, concurrent with England's burgeoning Fabian Socialist movement of the turn of the last century. The Fabian Socialists' motto? "Make haste slowly." The International Socialists planned this takeover of the free world for over a century, took their time, and infiltrated one institution after another.
An excellent, excellent book explaining the communist takeover of the Democrat party that began even before FDR is The Fabian Freeway. It was long out of print; but has recently been rediscovered and issued for Kindle and Nook. Also a freeper called ProgressingAmerica has piles of information about the gradual takeover on his/her home page, which also lists quite a few blogs and other ways to access online material free.
Get that man a cigar!
Since the same question was probably asked during the Civil War, Founders America could actually be around for a long time.
(((
Big difference: At that time, most people had strong religious convictions and followed the teachings of their particular faith. Now...?
>>> An appeal to arms and to the God of Hosts is all that is left us!
You are half-right.
If people are not willing to vote, they will not be willing to fight to defend the process. Likewise, if they are not willing to defend the vote, they will not take up arms against a government they don’t believe is illegitimate.
They don’t defend the vote because they don’t yet realize it is corrupted.
They will not take up arms until they realize that the enemy is in charge of our military.
It does take a majority to win elections, but it takes a super-majority to mount a viable over-throw... and that’s not going to happen until a majority realize where we really are... and by that time it will be (or is) too late.
That leaves us with the latter half of your point... To get right with God, and Trust in Him. He truly is all we have left.
You don’t think state nullification will lead to violence — somehow I don’t think when the State Troopers or local sheriff’s department stop some bunch of Federal enforcers (say the EPA for the sake of argument) from enforcing some law or regulation that the Feds won’t reply with armed force.
2008.
I think it probably would.
As I said, only REPENTANCE is going to save America. I do not believe that the majority, and by that I think 75%, don’t care. I saw an article the other day that said only 20% of Americans believe the Bible is the True Word of God. And did not believe it to be taken literal. Sad state of affairs that a nation that 80%-some odd amount of people claim to be Christian. That number is, in my humble opinion, sadly well over estimated. Just because your mother, daddy, great-grandmother, Uncle Pete, Aunt Ginny, whatever were Christians, does not make YOU a Christian. I can stand there and SAY I believe in Jesus. But, what does BELIEVE in Jesus mean to you? Is it a personal relationship with the Creator God of the entire universe and everything in it, or just, “I believe Jesus was a good guy and did nice things.” That dudden make one a Christian. Only that blood purchased, personal relationship, get on your knees and repent of one’s sins and start leading that life, that makes one a Christian. Not the ole, let’s run down to the mega church at the end of the block and play basketball on Wednesday night, makes you a Christian. That ain’t gonna get er done. Only the LORD, I repent of my sins, ask You to forgive my sins, and start living the life, gets it done.
“How long until the Founders America disappears?”
About 1863 or so, I think.
