Some Vietnam veterans in California are outraged after learning Jane Fonda, a.k.a. “Hanoi Jane,” will be giving the commencement speech for UCLA’s School of Theater next Friday.
Miss Fonda was given the disparaging nickname in 1972 after she called American soldiers “war criminals” and traveled to Hanoi, Vietnam, to meet with enemy soldiers.
“The Butler” actress is scheduled to speak on June 13 for the school’s commencement ceremony, but her appearance is drawing harsh criticism from veterans all over the country.
“We hate her,” Nick Callas, president of the Santa Clarita chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America, told Fox News. “We won’t ever see any of her movies or support anything she did. It makes me sick to see her get this kind of recognition.
John Crooker, first vice president of the California State Council of Vietnam Veterans of America, said he would never forgive Miss Fonda for the propaganda photo she took with Vietnamese soldiers.
“She was young and stupid, but that’s no excuse,” he told Fox News. “I don’t know of any Vietnam veterans who have anything good to say about her.”
A Facebook page titled, “Vets Boycotting Hanoi Jane Fonda,” has more than 37,000 fans and is urging a boycott against UCLA.
“Time for vets and Americans to band together to make a statement and to educate some of the younger generation about who Hanoi Jane Fonda really is,” the page’s mission states.
UCLAsaid in a statement that it is “truly honored” to have Jane Fonda speak at this year’s commencement ceremony....

Parading Hanoi Jane as the commencement speaker at UCLA is just another victory dance. This is just payback against the Vets… quite like putting the traitor John Kerry in as Secretary of State. Communist just love rubbing the nose of vanquished opponents into steaming piles of fecal matter…

I’d be outraged except that she is giving the speech at UCLA’s School of Theater ... my guess possible attendance is 10-20 people with the significant majority being Hollywood queers, freaks and perverts.

The leftists seem to be quite good at causing our side to get uninvited to these events.

Regrets, I have it on fairly good authority that she will be cremated, and scattered over The Pacific. She is will aware of the indignity that would await her, otherwise.
So we’ll use the frozen urine wherever her ashes are dumped. Maybe we should erect a buoy on the spot so that future generations can join in.
