difference is Russia can kick ass while the Mexican army is corrupt and incapable of even dealing with drug lords.

Unfortunately, our “leaders” are 1/100th the men that Americans were in the 1840s.

So if we give Mexico all of SoCal, except for Orange County, does that turn California “red” again?

Might be worth it.

Good luck retaking Texas...

2nd/3rd Generation Americans of Mexican decent along with quite a few recent arrivals have NO DESIRE to be reunited with that cesspool south of the Rio Grande.

Now if these folks would quirt voting for the Democrats...

Why assimilation - melting pot, not “salad” - is a necessity.

My grand-uncle was commissioned second lieutenant for the Mexican Punitive Expedition in 1916.

Maybe we need a do-over.

They cannot even control their own land.
They are fine with their 'excess' population trespassing into their Neighbor's yard and sending their checks 'home' - but they sure don't want responsibility for these people. They are more than happy for the Uncle Sam taxpayers to foot the bill.

If the Mexican Govt. thinks it can grab part of the SW, I’ve got news for them.

WAR.

I don’t believe in most wars, but this would be justified for Mexican War 2 1/2 (if you count Pancho Villa, and the current gangs invading parts of CA and other states along with the border war).

Let’s negotiate with Mexico. We can give them San Franciso in exchange for La Paz and Cabo San Lucas.

told ya'

Why shouldn't it happen? If the US allows itself to be invaded, won't protect its border, and won't defend its citizens, we're a failed nation. The answer is to put troops on our sourthern border and send home the invaders.

I would support people voting themselves out of the US.

Who thinks Obama has any problem with this?

Do we have anyone in the mainstream with a big megaphone who truly understands the left is destroying America?

The United States could break up quite fast given the right conditions. People call me crazy, but the state I see as first to leave will be Alaska. The people there can break away much more easily than the rest.
