via TCOT Report: "Grassroots Volunteers Challenge 180 Missing Voters in North Carolina"
Friday, representatives from the Voter Integrity Project and Asheville Tea Party announced they filed over 180 challenges to the registrations of so-called inactive voters in Buncombe County, NC.
The challenges trigger a compulsory investigation into the legitimacy of each voter. Law requires that at the conclusion of the investigation, the Board of Elections members vote to keep or clear that individual from the registered voter rolls.
The two groups first teamed up when the Asheville Tea Party hosted a Voter Integrity Boot Camp in October 2013. Several volunteers stepped up to begin the lengthy process of identifying and engaging individuals flagged as so-called inactive voters in Buncombe County, North Carolina.
Volunteers from the Asheville Tea Party and Voter Integrity Project of North Carolina are determined to continue their efforts to clean up the voter rolls of more than 500,000 inactive yet still registered voters in the Tar Heel State.

I hope this project has Ohio on its “to do” list; and many others as well. If this festering problem does no get resolved there will be little reason for Republicans and Conservatives to vote in presidential/congressional contests.
I love to see reports of local Tea Party activists doing such good and productive work. I wish this were the case in localities across the nation.
Good work folks!
We need to organize precinct by precinct on this kind of thing. They’ll cheat if we let them.
There’s much more mischief in voter fraud than strange ones registered legally and illegally..
Theres ballot box stuffing and Virus’s and Trojans in the voting machines as well..
AND of course multiple voting.. not to speak of other gambits...
OH!... and republicans that could care less about democrat voter fraud by any means.
Did I mention....... delusional optimists(both parties).... that think voter fraud is a fabrication?..
So what caused you to excerpt your own blog?
Why couldn’t you post the whole piece without excerpting?
You steal it, re-word it and pretend it is your own in order to get blog hits.
Yeah, we have seen that once or twice before.
every community needs to implement a similar program.
Perhaps every community should not only do a grass roots investigation, but then, write a “white paper,” a exhaustive report on what they have done, the importance and what will happen if the election officials fail to protect the lawful voter from these cheaters. Then disseminate that “white paper” to local media - newspaper, radio, TV - copies to every civic club, politician, church, etc.
Thanks for the info.
We looked at the votes in the 2008 election in the Durham/Raleigh area. You could request the voter information on a CD. It told you which registered voters voted in the election. We found about 50 questionable voters and asked them to investigate.
You don’t even have to be alive in some states.

I think she has rules against posting the entire piece. Probably would have to sue FR, and herself, if she did.
Data becomes outdated and unreliable very quickly. I would really like to see all the current voter rolls totally scrapped and everyone have to re-register in person at least once every three years. Certainly everyone should present a valid ID and proof of citizenship and residency but I would settle for the first part the first time around.
Buncombe County has a reputation for dead voters going back decades...it is a long standing tradition.
I actually did write this one, based on conversations with the activists in North Carolina.
And I posted it in news/activism because I thought that’s where it goes.
Admittedly, I could be wrong... is there a more appropriate category?
Thanks,
~ C :)
