No one objects when missions personnel feed the hungry or attend to the sick. But is advocacy on behalf of immigrants and refugees also part of the gospel?

You are not looking through the eyes of Jesus.
You are not looking through the eyes of Jesus.
You are not looking through the eyes of Jesus. Your point of view is a political view.
Proverbs 5:10, Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;
He wouldn't advocate the literal invasion which is occurring.
Regards,
Cool. Then let these people go to Mexico and insist that Mexico give amnesty and welfare to illegals from Guatemala and Honduras. Let them demand that Argentina and Paraguay stop deporting Illegal Bolivians and let them tell Australia that they are wrong to turn away “boat people” from Afghanistan. After they have succeeded in those tasks, I might read this press release.
Give them a ham sandwich and a map to the border.
And, by misinterpreting the gospel and rationalizing that the reason these people are breaking our laws, taking our resources and undermining OUR ability to do good, for the good of this country, we neglect the real reason why these people are doing what they are doing.
You totally ignore the fact that it is their government that creates the problem - Mexico, et al and it will be forever thus if we blindly ‘open our arms’ until we are inundated with them and suffocate from the load.
Rather, the attention that you propose we give these illegals should be steadfastly focused at fixing our own government so that it can rightly exert the pressure on Mexico et al to fix their own problems.
you are a socialist
and that you all who are for the Amnesty bill and immigration also advocate the invasion by these 3rd world scum to end the United states and our freedom and the stealing of our property and birthright makes you a traitor and evil
Let me help you out here.
Christ is concerned about INDIVIDUALS being charitable toward those in need, including immigrants.
Christ would NOT advocate a POLITICAL STRATEGY specifically designed to UNDERMINE THE POLITICAL STRUCTURE OF THE GOVERNMENT. (Vote Buying and a new population of dependent voters.)
Flooding the market with cheap labor CONDEMNS LEGAL IMMIGRANTS AND MINORITY WORKERS TO SLAVE WAGES.
Encouraging ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION condemns the country of origin to continued failed economic policies and corrupt governments.
you go give away all your property to illegal mexicans ok?
you don't worry about me . see you are not connected to me in any way and cannot tell me what to do. see i’m a free man . there is something called freedom. if you liberals want to help illegals go ahead and start your own web site to help the scum you leave me alone you get it yet marxist?
what you say means absolutely nothing to me .your existence matters not to me nor that of the whole lot of illegals mexicans
You are not looking through the eyes of Jesus.
Are the people of Mexico as bad off as slaves? I would say not. However, this is what the NT says about being a slave:
Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)
So, are you going to say that Jesus isn’t seeing slaves through His own eyes? Maybe your defense will be that He wasn’t alive to read Ephesians to know better?
You have a perverted mind. Jesus would not condone illegal trespass and taking of benefits from others under any circumstance.
I think your brain is addled by your mojitos.
