Interesting, isn't it? From those who obsess about saying the *proper* name of God and Jesus and *pronouncing* it *properly* to talk like that?

This passage comes to mind......

James 3:1-18 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. For we all stumble in many ways. I realize your not going to believe or understand this but if you missed the real meaning of who the Gentiles are you have missed the entire message of scripture.

To claim that no one other than those of the lost tribes of Israel will be saved is utterly preposterous. Paul was sent to the Gentiles who were NOT of the lost tribes of Israel.

You deny the gospel to say that salvation is not offered to all.

Must you always twist the message?

It begins in the prophets of the OT. The bride is the House of Israel, and those that sojourn among her.

The House of Israel at this point in time is probably in excess of four billion people. Out of them he has a “remnant” that he will save.

What is preposterous is your constant claim that Yeshua’s words are not what he meant.

Salvation is offered to them that come to him, and none come to him except the Father draws them to his son.

So far it looks like you have not yet come to him for some reason; you keep denying his requests to obey his Father’s commandments.

What’s so surprising? Rood made his own up. He calls it the MIV.

Here is an example of how Rood changes scripture.

So that’s from Zechariah and Jeremiah ey? Let’s look at what they really say.

Zechariah 8:23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

Jeremiah 16:19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

It is Jesus they go to NOT the Jews who Rood would have us believe. Then Rood pretends to be a Jew to get people to think they need to come to him. Here is another of Michael Rood’s changing of scripture.

In the beginning of his DVD called “From the Oracles of God & The Road to Emmanus”.

"Yochanan, a first century Jewish author wrote " I have not written everything that could, or should be written about Yahshua of Nazareth, but these things I have written, so that you might know and believe that Yahshua is the messiah." Yochanan (John) 20:30-31

Here’s how the passage really reads in scripture.

John 20:30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Notice how Rood conveniently leaves out that “Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God”.

Here, for those who don't already know, Rood is simply substituting Yeshua's personal Hebrew name assigned to him by the Almighty himself, instead of the pseudonyms the translators coined in the Greek. (i.e., "Iesous" & "Christos")

All someone needs to do is check all the quotes from his own MIV (Marine Infantry Version) and compare them to real scripture and they can see the changes for themselves. Please don’t tell me you don’t know about that version. It’s what he quotes from on his web site. I simply pointed out a couple of examples.

We've already been over this, at least twice CB. What you are twisting completely out of socket, is Rood's tendency to write out a passage that he is trying to better understand in his own words (i.e., The Marine Infantry Version). Sometimes the word "Infantry" is used as a derogatory adjective. Here, Rood is applying that to himself.

Again, an obvious falsehood that you're trying to snooker the uninitiated with.

I don't have this particular book(?) by Rood, but I do have a copy of his Chronological Gospels. In his CG it reads:

John 20:30-31 Truly, many other signs did Yeshua in the presence of his disciples which are not written in this scroll. 31But these are written that you might believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of יהיה, and that by trusting him him fully and obeying him completely,(1) you might have life through his name.

The bold is mine, the italics and footnote are Rood's signifying he added those words.

Since we don't have the originals CB, they are all translations. He indicates where he added them. The double him booboo, I just noticed, is mine.

Btw, in an early version of the KJV, the translators were good enough to do the same.

Does it make sense then that he would endorse his own disciples to change his own words? No. If you are a disciple of Yeshua, you are a disciple of Yeshua. Not Paul, John, or James, or any other.

Are you claiming to understand Yeshua's will better than Peter, James, and John ? Are are going to disregard their words, which were given by the Holy Spirit?
