Here is an example of how Rood changes scripture.
From Michael Rood’s book “The Pagan Christian Connection Exposed”>

As the prophets said, the Gentiles will come to the believers among the Jews in the last days, take hold of the blue fringe on the corners of their garments and say, “teach us the ways of the LORD, we now understand that the living oracles of GOD were committed to the Jews, and we have inherited nothing but lies and pagan gods from our forefathers—teach us about the Messiah (Zechariah 8:23, Jeremiah 16:19)" (page xvi introduction)
So that’s from Zechariah and Jeremiah ey? Let’s look at what they really say.
Zechariah 8:23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
Jeremiah 16:19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
It is Jesus they go to NOT the Jews who Rood would have us believe. Then Rood pretends to be a Jew to get people to think they need to come to him. Here is another of Michael Rood’s changing of scripture.
In the beginning of his DVD called “From the Oracles of God & The Road to Emmanus”.
"Yochanan, a first century Jewish author wrote " I have not written everything that could, or should be written about Yahshua of Nazareth, but these things I have written, so that you might know and believe that Yahshua is the messiah." Yochanan (John) 20:30-31
Here’s how the passage really reads in scripture.
John 20:30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Notice how Rood conveniently leaves out that “Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God”.
