Yahweh rules, .....but Jesus Christ is satanic....that’s the theme presented over numerous threads posted to attack all things doctrinal through faith alone in Christ.

Sorry, you have made your bed with others who share your false doctrines.

On the witness of myself, these threads have gone beyond error into the domain of intentional false doctrine. If there are any other witnesses of their behavior as such, please feel free to post or pray accordingly, so that the appropriate authorities of those present may discern their veracity and learn of the consequence.

I might not profess to all things dispensational, but I have found nothing wrong with Larkin, nor most of the older DTS studies into eschotology. Accordingly, whenever I bump into somebody who claims to be Christian, but hates dispensationalism, I know I’ve bumped into somebody out of fellowship with God at the least, and simply a heretic or enemy of Christ at worst.

Bears repeating:

Acts 4:10-12 KJV

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.(KJV)

In the Messianic Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) the same passage goes:

10 then let it be known to you and to all the people of Isra’el that it is in the name of the Messiah, Yeshua from Natzeret, whom you had executed on a stake as a criminal but whom God has raised from the dead, that this man stands before you perfectly healed.

11 “This Yeshua is the stone rejected by you builders which has become the cornerstone. 12 There is salvation in no one else! For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by whom we must be saved!”

False doctrine is most commonly empty grace coupled with dispensationalism and pre-trib rapture.

That syndrome will be responsible for more people hearing Matthew 7:23 recited at the great white throne than any other.

Dispensationalism is by all evidence the most common disconnect from Yehova that exists.

It begins with deliberately confusing Jews with the House of Israel to turn Yeshua’s primary message to confusion.

That is Satan’s work in a nutshell.

After reading the CJB that I recently obtained, I have become convinced that it is simply a KJV with the names restored, and nothing more.

“Yahweh” is an impossible name in the Hebrew language. Two coupled consonant sounds are not allowed.

There are more differences.

The KJV is a formal equivalence Bible, while the CJB is a dynamic equivalent version. The CJB was also the work of one man.

Oh BTW, first I ever heard dispensationalism equates Jews with Israel. The theological method of dispensationalism avoids such error by not interpreting the OT in light of the NT. There’s a thread on that now ongoing which is very good. You might be confusing supercessionalism or replacement theology.

Those hack sites have been discredited time and time again...

This is the man whose discredited writings you have unmitigated Gaul to use in attacking Rood:

MY TESTIMONY (Mike Oppenheimer)

I was brought up Jewish, went to Shabbat quite faithfully each Friday and celebrated the holydays at the temple and with family. Our family like many others, gathered together on the high holy days in observance. I attended Hebrew school twice a week and learned the language and eventually was Bar Mitzvahed and confirmed. While attending classes I asked a lot of questions about God the Rabbi could not answer. Though I continued each year, mainly to please my parents, I became less interested in the traditional religion of my parents and feeling hindered in my spiritual development, leaped head first into my own brand of freestyle spirituality after graduation.

By my own search in reading and attending lectures and gatherings I got involved in the New Age Movement, became a vegetarian and for 15 years practiced yoga and meditation. I ended up using psychedelic drugs for a time (LSD, mescaline etc.), as part of my regular religious observances and smoking “pakalolo” (pot) became part of my normal lifestyle. During these times I also experimented with various religions and the occult. I felt they each contained some part of the truth of the one “true” religion, just as Rosicrucianism teaches all religions are petals on the same flower.

I studied about the Ancient Masters of the East, learning about Buddhism and Zen I picked up on a number of the practices. I had a number of spiritual experiences which at the time I was sure were from God and leading me to a greater knowledge of myself and Him. I discovered and believed in the Ascended Masters that were guiding our world into a greater evolutionary path. I was involved with UFO’s and channeled messages. I was sure I was on the right spiritual path because of the various signs things just fell into place. At the same time I also read the Bible (even the New Testament), not denying my Jewish roots. I began reading over 50 books a year, having an insatiable spiritual appetite, but God was working on my exit out of this spiritual bondage.

I had also started to surf before beginning my spiritual pilgrimage. I fell in love with the sport and began traveling, surfing and entering contests. Surfing became my livelihood after I learned to shape surfboards for a living. I became the NY champion for a number of years and eventually the eastern surfing champion for two years. Hawaii proved to be an irresistible attraction due to its fantastic surf. I moved permanently to Hawaii with my girlfriend Kathy in the mid 70’s. This gave me more freedom to pursue both my first love of surfing and my freelance spirituality. We thought we were becoming enlightened. Reading books about the Ascended Masters involvement and “learning” about Earth’s past history on Lemuria and Atlantis. We desired to become servants of the New age movement, convinced that if we all united we could usher in an age of spiritual cooperation and enlightenment that so many were talking about. After nine years my searching came to a head when my girlfriend Kathy and I started to pursue our spiritual hunger more seriously and became involved in the “I Am Movement” (the Saint Germaine Society of the Ballard’s). Through calling on angels and powers unknown to us and by “decreeing” and using the Violet Consuming Flame to eradicate past life karma, we were learning to become active in the New Age Movement. At the time, Kathy was practicing affirmations, mantras, studying herbology, polarity therapy, kinesiology and learning about the supposed spiritual energies of the body. She also was a manager of a health store on the Island of Oahu.

Consider His commandments. Are you sure His word was modified by a handful of bootlickers a coupla thousand years ago?

Is it just me, or do any others here find referencing the Apostles as "bootlickers", satanic??? Maybe they're too busy condemning and ridiculing a fellow follower of the Messiah to notice, or perhaps there isn't a brave soul in the lot.

Yeshua came to fulfill 'His' word, to clarify, and to warn of what is to come. You like others, follow manmade doctrines and laws instead of 'His' commandments. You would do well to view a few of the teachings I've linked. Start with the *The Great Secret of Solomon's Temple*...

The Hebrew Roots movement is certainly NO CULT. Anyone trying to say it is, is just plain ignorant of the facts. It is way bigger than Michael Rood. It is a nondenominational movement to discover our common Hebrew Roots. Not a bad description of the Hebrew Roots movement, even if it was written by someone from the Worldwide Church of God:

THE HEBREW ROOTS MOVEMENT

A growing number of Christians are coming to an appreciation of the Jewish roots of Christianity and a love for the Sabbath and biblical festivals. Who are they? What can we learn from them?

A great ecumenical wave is sweeping through the Christian world. Increasingly, Christians are joining together across denominational and racial lines to affirm the great truths they hold in common and rededicate themselves to lives of discipleship. For example, in a 1994 declaration entitled, ``Evangelicals and Catholics Together: the Christian Mission in the Third Millennium,'' a group of American Evangelical and Catholic leaders expressed their resolve that all Christians unite to promote their shared values in a world that so sorely needs those values.

In the Evangelical community, thousands find strength, inspiration, and renewal at rallies sponsored by organizations like Women of Faith , Acquire the Fire, and Promise Keepers. I have never attended a Promise Keepers rally, but last fall, I experienced an ecumenical event that to me was at least as thrilling. On October 2-3, 1998, the Sabbath immediately before the Feast of Tabernacles, I participated in a joyous Feast of Tabernacles celebration held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kettering, Ohio. At this event, three hundred Christians from several denominations rejoiced, through songs and study of the Scriptures, in all the wonderful things that the Feast represents.

The celebration began with an inspirational Friday-night worship service. The excitement in the air brought back memories of services from the opening night of the Feast in years gone by. To my knowledge, though, I was the only one in attendance with any connection to the Worldwide Church of God (WCG).

The festivities continued the next morning with a stimulating Bible Study expounding the full context and meaning of Jesus' famous words from the Last Great Day of the Feast recorded in John 7:37-38. This study, delivered by Dwight A. Pryor, an elder of the Church of the Messiah (Dayton,Ohio), reminded me of some of the deep messages that I had heard at past WCG festivals and treasured through the years. The study was followed by a catered Israeli-style lunch, afternoon seminars, and a concluding worship service.

Events like this ecumenical festival gathering are far-from-isolated occurrences these days. A growing number of Christians are discovering the deep meanings of the Sabbath and annual festival days and the great joy and peace that can accompany their observance. These Christians join together to learn about and celebrate an important part of the common heritage of all Christians-the roots of Christianity in the biblical Judaism of our Jewish Messiah and His disciples. Together, they make up what has come to be known as the Hebrew Roots movement.

The Hebrew Roots movement is composed of a diverse variety of believers and ministries, united in the conviction that our understanding of the New Testament, our relationship with our Savior, and the mission of the Church can all be enhanced by a greater knowledge of the Jewish background of Christianity. These Christians and Messianic Jews hope to break down the barriers of mutual antagonism and ignorance that Christians and Jews have erected between themselves over the centuries, barriers that have exacted a high price for both groups. In particular, Christian antisemitism has led to intense persecution of the Jews through the centuries, placing a huge stumbling-block in the path of efforts to proclaim the true Messiah to the Jewish community. In addition, Christian ignorance of and hostility toward Judaism have often blurred Christian understanding of the teachings of Jesus and Paul.

A key scriptural passage for these believers is the eleventh chapter of Paul's epistle to the Romans. In this chapter, Paul describes Gentile Christians as “wild olive branches'' grafted into the cultivated olive tree of Israel to form one unified people of God. Of special note is v.18, in which Paul instructs Gentile Christians, ``... do not boast over those branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.'' (NIV) Christians in the Hebrew Roots movement take seriously this admonition from Paul to not take an arrogant attitude toward Jews or Judaism. They hope instead to be enriched by a greater knowledge of the Jewish roots of Christianity, and they pray for the time Paul speaks of in v. 26, when ``all Israel will be saved.''

11This is the stone which was counted as nothing by you builders, which has become the head of the corner. 12There is no salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved."

Here Paul is speaking about the Law...Not the phoney law of the Pharisees...The Law of the Torah...

Gal 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
Gal 3:20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
Gal 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
Gal 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Gal 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

We are no long under the Law of the Torah...Says so right there...

You keep wanting a response to your post #145. Well, let’s look at those passages.

You highlighted Jesus words ”but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” in an attempt to prove that going back under the law and following the commandments is required. Yet you neglect to include the words in that same passage where Jesus also said ”If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor”. Surely you have sold all that you have and have given the proceeds to the poor right? Or are you some sort of hypocrite and only take those words of Jesus that fit your little package of beliefs?

Then you quoted Mark 10 which is the same conversation of Jesus where He said ”go and sell all that thou hast, and give to the poor”. If you take one comment literally you must take the next also. If you have not I would believe you to be a hypocrite.

You next quoted Luke 1:6 where the comment was made about Zacharias the priest. Zacharias was under the law as it was prior to the death and resurrection of Christ. You highlighted the quote ”walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless”. I would focus your attention on the word all in that quote. But in these threads you have had to concede that you cannot follow all of the “commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless”. If you do not follow them all but insist we must you are a hypocrite akin to the Pharisees.

I’ll not list the entire list you included but will consolidate them in the statement that your intent was to illustrate that we are to literally follow all the laws of the Old Testament. One of the verses you quoted included this statement ”He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”. If you believe that means that we are to keep all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless” as given in the Torah but you don’t keep them all you are a “liar, and the truth is not in” you.

There are 613 “commandments and ordinances” in the Torah yet when challenged you dismiss many of them saying they don’t apply to you. Well, how about you tell us which of those 613 you consider to apply to you and that you follow ’blameless”. And if you do, have you sold all and given it to the poor? If not, you are a liar, and the truth is not in you.

So let’s have it. List which of the “commandments and ordinances” that you think still apply today and lets discuss them.
