Celente Warns Of Coming Riots: “The Collapse Is Engulfing The World”
SHTF Plan ^ | 1/31/14 | Mac Slavo

Celente isn’t suggesting that a massive collapse is going to happen in the future.

He says we’re already in it – and it’s taking hold right before our eyes across the entirety of the globe:

Something is definitely going down...the recent banker and economist suicides are telling.

And, judging by posts in the non prep threads...looks like a lot of folks are really clueless on what is going on.

Was on other threads the other day discussing what's “In the air” so to speak. It's like when a few stones start to slide in an avalanche....or a volcano spitting....and everyone hopeing it won't really happen.

Isn’t a gas burner easily lit by a match?

There was a story a few years back stating that the US gov bought thousands of guillotines and were storing them near railroad depots and at military bases. Wonder if this was true.....

“why would they do this to us?....why?.....a thrifty hard working middle class is beneficial to the country and the world....why destroy us?”

Do not make the mistake that they hold the same values or world view that you do.

Many of these people would gladly destroy 90% of the worlds population if it gained them a little additional power or luxury. Many of these people are driven by envy, hatred, and rage. They love to see destruction and death.

Invest in a foreign escape hatch. Panama City has some gorgeous new, all inclusive apartments going up. Multiple zero depth pools right up to the ocean, gyms, restaurants, beautiful interiors. Rent it when you are not there. When you are there, just enjoy!

Well, I guess what remains for a resistance movement “network” are the old ways: coded communication (perhaps via the modern manner made to resemble innocuous tweets); or by courier, or by snail mail disguised as junk, and by meetings held in private homes linked through the above.

It probably wouldn’t work, but not for the reasons many would think. It probably wouldn’t work, because a great proportion of Americans have lost the virtues of patience, diligence, discipline and discretion.

I don’t know why but I do know what they want. They want control! Control of everything down to the smallest detail.

Why anyone would want to control another person is a large enough question that I don’t think anyone knows the true answer. Unless you have the raging desire yourself, I don’t think you can answer it.

But if a collapse occurs there won’t be any safe haven in the stock market, right? I am struggling with whether or not to close out a 401K with a former employer and just take cash while there is still money there even though I am not yet close to retirement either.

The top burners, since they turn on via knobs. But the oven is all electronic turn-on, thermostat, etc. Can’t turn on the oven propane manually. I’m disgusted. Gonna sell it. I talked to the local appliance repair place, they cannot even find propane ranges with manual control ovens.

Actually I did find one at Lehman’s, for a huge amount of money and shipping.

I retired in the spring of 2008. Much to my horror my fellow Americans, including family members, voted in our Marxist overlord. In September of 2012 I moved to cash positions in my IRA & 403B. I have a pension & have not yet drawn on those dollars. I’m not sure that those dollars will be there after the crash, & I’m psychologically prepared if I have to go back to work after the crash happens. But people are better off staying employed until after we get through whatever is going to happen. The job may go away, but they may be the lucky ones to still be drawing some kind of paycheck when the S hits the F.

My grandfather worked at AT&T during the depression. His was one of the better off families. My mother even recalls taking a vacation to Hialea (sp?) during the middle of it. Will everything go down in the coming crash? I don’t know, but I’d try to keep an iron in the fire, at least for a while.

If you don’t have a huge amount in that account, it might be worth taking the penalty & stocking up on...whatever. Every person’s position is different.

Yep - beat ya to it. Celente has a history of continually predicting the end - one day he will be right. HE was pretty spot on about the GFC but I have not looked at his record prior to that - he may have been predicting over and over before that and just got lucky. It could be today or a year from now but things are not looking good. I would rather look at someone with a more sober history!

Just watched the Keep - it was a better movie than I remember but goodness there is some awful editing in it!

I have inverter power to supply the necessary AC current to power that.

I would definitely go with the propane.

Lookit what else operates off propane:

Note that the EcoJon, for one, requires an electric power source in addition to propane (presumably for ignition) but allows for use of a car or golfcart battery.

BTW, note that there are also refrigerators made to run on propane. Check out a well-supplied RV store to get a notion of how many items one may run on gas.

FTR, I am leery of committing to a fuel source that must be delivered by someone else. Generally, that’s where you’re likely to be disappointed when you can least afford it.

But I’d already have a gas toilet in my basement if I could, if only to have the convenience without introducing plumbing nightmares into my sewage system. I’m on septic & intend to keep it that way. I don’t find it daunting to have to vent the fire exhaust thru existing stacks.
