In a media interview Friday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo tagged his opponents as "extreme conservatives" and said that they "have no place in New York."
Who are these "extreme conservatives?" Opponents of gun control, abortion, and homosexual marriage, that's who:
"The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act... Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that's who they are and they're the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the State of New York, because that's not who New Yorkers are."
Let's deconstruct this for a moment. New York's ultra-draconian "SAFE Act" permanently outlawed all military rifles developed in the past sixty years. It created State Police surveillance of all ammunition sales, and a required that the State Police keep a database of all ammunition purchases. It criminalized the possession of firearm magazines that were legally purchased decades ago without compensating the owners. It was passed at 2 A.M. with no committee hearings and no debate. Legislators were given 15 minutes' notice to vote on a 39 page bill -- not enough time to read it. And Cuomo waived a legal requirement that a three-day waiting period for public input occur before the legislation took effect.
And if you think that violates the Second, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution... you "have no place in the State of New York."
Do you oppose abortion, which the science of biology absolutely proves kills a nascent human being in utero -- largely to maintain culture of reckless promiscuity? Then you're an "extremist" who has "no place in the State of New York."

Figlio del Sfaccim proving once again the Shiite never falls far from the bat.
Oh, as a side note, speaking of “homophobia” I seem to remember back in 1986 when the late Mayor Ed Koch ran against Papa Sfaccim in the dem primary for NY gov. Some of Mario’s hired thugs where driving around NYC with bullhorns shouting “vote for Cuomo, NOT the homo”. You raised a fine boy there, Mario /s
Easy enough, Andy. But you do the rest of us a favor and stay there, too.
Cuomo is the dictionary definition of a bigot;
...having or revealing an obstinate belief in the superiority of one’s own opinions and a prejudiced intolerance of the opinions of others.
If NY is so wonderful, why are people leaving in droves?

The People’s Republic of New York.
Let’s beat Coomo with one of those “extreme conservatives.”
I don’t understand the first sentence. If your business is owned by a right winged extremists, then come in?
That appears to me to be the way its worded.
“Unless you are owned by rwextremist, you freaks stay out?” Shouldn’t it be “If your business?”
I’m not drunk yet, so I can count that out!
What am I missing?
Hmmm... I’m pro-life & pro-adoption, I own a firearm that resembles an `assault weapon’, & I regard homosexuality as disgusting, unnatural, & contrary to to the Word of God. Guess that makes me a thought-criminal in Albany.
But in October 2012 we drove through Upstate on our way to the peoples’ republic of Canada. Folks in the small towns seemed normal enough but Cuomo is what happens when the culture of one city dominates an entire state. Illinois is similar.
Milllions of people don't understand how our Gov't looks at us. People in DC and those in office in blue states think of us simply as cattle to be manipulated to get our money.
New York should be fun to watch with a Fascist in Albany and a Communist in NY City. Popcorn time!
I tend to stay away from open-air gulags.
Cuomo`s parents must be pro-life coz Cuomo is ALIVE @!!
Cuomo`s parents therefore are “extreme conservatives” and they “have no place in New York.”
Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, “
Moron! They are your parents, you Cuomonista!!
who are they. The one’s paying the bills. After looking more closely at this dudes mug he may be the long lost bridge that scientists have been looking for between man and crow magnum man.
Cuomo has no personal morals. As the institution of marriage decays across the country, with terrible consequences, the CINO is shacked up with his girl friend in the governor’s mansion.
I left NY in 2012 and only regret that I didn’t leave sooner. The dems can have NY.
This really is Nazi-like - only certain approved types are to be permitted to live in NY state - all others to be excluded - what’s next, extermination camps?....
The NY GOP has no intention of running a conservative. From their actions I can only assume they are intentionally trying to let Cuomo have another term. They are doing nothing to prevent Cuomo form tightening his grip on existing rights let alone the ones that have been eroded away over the years. I would move if I could find a job in a free state. Being old-ish and having a narrow job field doesn’t help for relocating.
The NY GOP never intends to run a conservative. More often than they’d like, the Conservative Party forces them into it.
The Republicans cannot win statewide without the Conservative Party and they know it. They hate it, but they know it. If the Conservatives nominate someone for governor other than the person the Republicans nominate, Cuomo will romp. (He may anyway, depending on who the candidate is.) It’s hard enough for the Republicans to win. Without the Conservatives, they h e zero shot.
Frankly, if they run different gubernatorial candidates, the Conservative party may end up taking away Row B. That’s how weak teh NY GOP is.
