Prayers for you and your computer. I’ve been on an iPhone for years, and I still miss my PC. I got on the library computer recently, and it felt like such a luxury.

Oh, no, so then you’re in the same predicament? Sorry to hear that. My problem is that I kept everything, records, documents, etc., on my computer. Most of the Word docs were backed up, but there was some very important info I lost. Well, I used to be teased about keeping paper files, the old fashioned way, instead of keeping everything on the computer. I should have stuck with the old fashioned way. Thanks for your response, Bykrbayb, and best wishes to you and your husband.

When one of my PCs crashed, I took it to a repair shop. They were able to retrieve most of the lost data, and put it on an external drive. The next PC, I used an external backup drive. When that PC crashed, I still had everything on the backup drive. I still have it now. I just don’t have a PC to view it on. LOL

Hi there everyone. I know some of your names. Last year I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia with an aggressive gene. After the chemo treatments, I went on to have a doner bone marrow transplant from my gracious sister. I’m in remission but actively in a 5 year trial taking chemo pills daily to maintain remission since it’s so aggressive. It’s hard some days. I fought hard to survive. But, I wish I had some stamina and felt well enough to enjoy the life God so graciously gave me. I think many of you survivors understand. So, I’m getting there slowly but surely. Two steps forward, one step back is still going forward.

HollyB, I’m so sorry... I just now checked in here after a long absence, and I see your post above. My computer broke down, so I haven’t been checking in. (Just using a cell phone now.) How are you doing?

Thank you TOT. It’s all ok. How are you? I’m doing ok. About the same. Still not working, so the isolation can be a little hard at times. Just saw 13 Hours. Wow - what a movie. All of us followed the Benghazi story with horror. even after all the reading, this movie was powerful and is frightening to think of Hillary as CIC. Can’t wait for the Dems to exit the White House and their leadership in Agencies.

Glad to hear you’re doing all right. I am fine, too. I hear you about the isolation. I recently found work, but it was tough to find a job in this economy. I haven’t watched 13 Hours. I’ll have to check into that.

Hello Cancer Warriors! Prayers that God strengthens and consoles all involved.

Our son Dan has been improving after having a relapse where his lung cancer began to show up around his kidneys and adrenal gland area. More Chemo followed up by "spot" radiation around kidneys and prophylactic brain radiation. Hair returning along with energy.

Hoping for a few good years and have no idea of God's plans - we bought him a used truck because he loves working on cars and he has been restoring it and using it to get around in - money well spent as it gives him something to do/look forward to.

On another note, I have recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. PSA had moved to low "5" area and my doctor pushed me to urology for evals - MRI showed pea size spot on lower left and biopsies confirmed cancer in that area.If anyone else had similar surgery, would appreciate feedback and will provide same once I have my surgery.
