“............We’re now looking here at what is the ultimate destruction of what was the best health care system in the world, and what was the greatest economy of the world. And we’ve got people who now say, “I didn’t know,” and you did know. You had a chance to know. You didn’t avail yourself of the opportunity. You’re running around, you’re calling everybody else closed-minded, you’re calling everybody else an extremist bigot, and you revel in ignorance because it is you who are closed-minded. The truth was easy to learn about who Obama is, and about what Obamacare was intended to be. So if you’ll pardon me, I think I’m sensing a pattern here, folks.
I’ve got a montage of all these media people saying Obama didn’t know about NSA spying. Obama didn’t know. He didn’t know about the IRS. He didn’t know about Fast and Furious. He didn’t know that Obamacare’s website was gonna be a bust. He didn’t know anything. And that’s the excuse? I just saw Gloria Borger on CNN, “Obama didn’t know.” As though that’s something to be proud of? That is a legitimate excuse? The president didn’t know that the NSA was spying on foreign leaders, and you want us to give him a pass because he’s that out of touch and detached that he didn’t know, when the fact of the matter is they’re lying to us again. BS, he didn’t know. How stupid do they think we are? ............”

Ding ding ding! I think we have a winner. I simply do not believe the administration, as clueless as it has been on so many issues, did not know this was coming.
And, I still wonder if - at the risk of sounding like a tinfoil hat type - the ultimate goal is to push through single payer. The argument being private insurers are not up to meeting the needs of the American people, so government needs to ensure “fairness” in coverage. I think that would be a very tough sell right now, but if the Democrats took back the House in 2014, I have very little doubt that Obama would resurrect the public option and try to ram it through with Pelosi and Reid’s help.
I honestly believe that many in this administration see that as ‘the greater good’, and see the turmoil people are experiencing in losing their individual coverage and/or higher rates as a necessary component to getting a single payer system in place.
These are interesting times we live in...
Later we learn how the culprits visited the WH hundreds of times but Obama still never knew anything.
It isn’t an unintended consequence he would have learned after the fact. The law was written precisely to set new minimums for the basic coverage every individual health care plan must provide. So obviously they will be required to cover an array of “essential” services, including medication, maternity and mental health care with a 10,000 deductible that if you can’t pay...you either drop insurance or go broke anyway.
Valerie Jar Jar tells the guy with ears to go sit in a room and play (cards?) with Reggie. When they need him to read off a tele-prompter, they call on him.
Otherwise, he’s left out.
You know, we've been given to believe this is a very bright, very curious man who cares about policy details, grasps without difficulty and asks very good questions.
Well, your naive credulity is your problem. Based on observation and listening, my conclusion differs. Obama is not bright, he is a BS artist, propped up to THINK he is bright, by people around him.

It is all over the news Web sites, start pages, home pages etc: Obama not only knew people were going to lose their current coverage, he simply didn’t care and doubled down on the fabrication. Largely for the low information types who only stopped spewing the same around a week ago. A lot of them have gone silent.
Maybe Obama knew, maybe he didn’t, or maybe he’s in the pocket of the big insurance companies and passed ObamaCouldCareLess to force people to buy higher priced plans.
They knew. He knew....all of us knew. Half of us didn't give a sh!t because Obama promised them their idyllic world. The other half was hobbled by a metastasized entrenchment of appeasing GOP party statists who couldn't wait to propel TWO Presidential Candidates to ignominy. I'll say this. Ted Cruz knows. Mike Lee knows. We tea party sentiment voters, and those hard working net tax payers out here know. And, we know when election day is too.

He knew. But all around him know that they have to be willing to sacrifice their reputation, their careers, and even their lives to protect the big guy.
So the truth will never be spoken.

You may be right, Hume. Obama issues decrees, luxuriates at will, to say he is lazy is an understatement. He doesn;t want to be bothered, just enjoy the perks while he wrecks the nation.
