I liked Michael Hurst, New Zealand’s most respected Shakespearean actor.
Howdy Gnag!
My puter died.
Signed Chief Babysitter.
:-)
HILSE!
DANG! How awful is that?
I’m so sorry!
Seems to be a lot of that going around right now.
Did you give it a decent burial, or are you going to give it a transplant of vital organs with an eye toward a resurrection?
Just-In-Case, I am backing up my computer to my slave...There is so much space on the Toshiba that it’s still not registering any bytes and it’s been going for 6 minutes.
I think this thing is going to crash, any time now...
It could just be trying to get attention.
It’s just pining for the fjords...
Well, yes...it’s been getting hot and locking up, so it is DEFINITELY getting attention!
But just in case, everything is now on the Toshiba, and I have so much space there it’s not funny...even with everything I’ve put in with documents and photos.
So I will do what I do and if it crashes, I will do something else!
;o]
The need for new windshield wipers for Mr. Bill seem like a trivial thing compared to the possible/probable need of a new computer!
But when it’s raining ...
It was hard to see this morning, but the wipers will have to wait for the next payday. I will just try not to drive in the rain. The desert kills wiper blades and batteries, (not to mention tires) so I will take care of the least expensive first...In October.
Maybe the battery will last another year here, since it was operating in Puget Sound, but longer than to May of 2014, is really an iffy thing.
And I will have to make sure I have enough in reserve within the next year to handle four tires. Pep Boys usually has sales of “buy three, get one free” and they will balance them and put them on for one price.
(Been there, done that! LOL!)
Concur!
So sad! Big hugs to M and hope you revive puter or get replacement forthwith (does that mean soon?)!
Interstate batteries were the most reliable I’ve ever had in the desert. The other brands paled in comparison.
I looked it up.
I just got a really cool steampunk coloring page in the mail! I am SO into steampunk now it isn’t funny...I even have an ebook about a steampunk mystery/romance...the romance I can do without, but the steampunk mystery is good!
That picture took me forever, because after I finished the cool stuff, there was all the woodwork and gears!
Kewl! I doubt very much that I can afford one, but it’s nice to dream! Thanks. I will check it out.
LOL!
I have a couple of steampunk pages that I need to get to, but it seems if I’m not RUNNING somewhere, I’m here at the computer!
Anyway, I am saving everything you send, so maybe, in the future, you could sign it and date it? Initials are fine, but the date is what counts. Some of my dad’s best work was useless because it wasn’t signed. I always add my initials and a date...the month and year are good...day is not really necessary.
