The left deals in and embraces relativism and with it comes uncertainty.
Any group of people, especially Christians, that express “certainty” are evil for they are “judgmental” and that is bad. That being said “Islamist” definitely express certainty and are judgmental, and should be viewed by the left as bad, but are not.
I don’t think the thought process among the left is really very deep or complicated.
The left in the west sees the Islamist in the east as a group of people that are fighting against the same people they are fighting. In addition, they think these Islamists have “freely choose” their path, and therefore deserves their respect.
Because Mrs. Smith, the 80 year old widow down the street who thinks the government spends too much money, goes to Tea Party rallies, and votes Republican is a bigger threat to world peace than violence-crazed Islamists who murder infidels and rape any woman who comes in their way. We have to get our priorities straight here.
The MarxoFascist Left (or Regressives) continue to ignore radical Islam BECAUSE they are allies.
