What about the IRS scandal? The State Department lies and misdirects on Benghazi? The NSA spying on everyone? Common sense Comprehensive Immigration Reform? The War of Terror? Please people, youre going to have to try a little harder to keep up.
Hide under here for awhile. Ill let you know when its your turn to come out.
Wait what? The War on Terror, and everything else, is over? Weve moving on to Al Gores War on American Prosperity?
Yes, it is. And now the war begins.
Comparing global warming to World War II, former Vice President Al Gore said America should mobilize to combat climate change and put a price on carbon pollution.
The biggest news out of Algores pronouncement of the war to end global warming/cooling/change was his acknowledgement that FDRs New Deal did not end the Great Depression (!):
Even though we give FDR and the New Deal the credit for ending the Great Depression, what really ended it was World War II when we mobilized for a great national effort in which the survival of our country and our values was deemed to be at stake and when we decided to act, then we put people to work and the economy started booming like never before,
I wonder if he knows that conservatives have been making that same argument against Keynesian government spending for decades?
Sorry Nancy P, it looks like unemployment isnt the best way to put America back to work after all. I know this seems counterintuitive in the world of progressive ideas and concepts, butt apparently its the way things work in the real world. Apparently from time to time its still beneficial to think INSIDE the box.
Butt I digress; back to Algore:

Big Guy on the other hand, wants to save the planet through confiscatory taxes common sense measures and innovating physics. No, you read that right; not innovative physics, innovating physics. You know, some of that out of the box thinking that has already brought us new fuel sources:tobacco, algae and corn.
Well need scientists to design new fuels, and farmers to grow them.
Well need engineers to devise new sources of energy, and businesses to make and sell them.
See its just a matter of science and physics, like JFK announcing we were going to the moon. Except that physics supported that idea. Unfortunately it looks like the laws of thermodynamics in specific and the laws of physics in general dont support our new War on American prosperity. Unlike community organizers and political opportunists, physicists have actually studied the scientific basis of climate phenomena even after Algore determined it to be settled - and find the conclusion of the global alarmists to be hokum:
At the end of the presentation, Salby implies, quoting Richard Feynman, that CO2 science today can be described as Cult Science.
Unfortunately pesky little facts that keep popping up led them to conclude that CO2 levels are actually a by-product of the earths temperature, not the cause.
In significant part, however, CO2 is controlled by Global Temperature, as it is in the Proxy Record.
Boy! I didnt see that coming. Did you?
(SNIP)
Make no mistake, we WILL control your carbon emissions whether you want us to or not. Because we want to. And because we know whats good for you whether you do or not. And because we can.
President Obama will announce Tuesday in a speech at Georgetown University that he plans to regulate greenhouse-gas emissions from existing power plants, according to individuals who have been briefed on the plan but asked not to be identified.
And then, right after the big announcement, Big Guy, Lady M, the Wee Wons, a dozen miscellaneous friends and relatives and will board Air Force Won along with several military transports loaded with 56 support vehicles, including 14 limousines, and three trucks to carry bulletproof glass panels for a weeklong visit to Africa. Several hundred Secret Service personnel are already on the ground, securing the perimeters of the royal first familys trip.
And remember people, only you can stop common sense Hope and Change.
Why not post it right here instead of pimping for hits?
It’s funny that our prsident can’t fix the problems here at home (and infact is doing everythign he can to make matters worse by enacting more regulatiosn and taxes to further crippple peopel and busiensses) Yet he feels compelled to step in and ‘solve’ the syrian’s civil war- He seems morwe intent on ‘fixing’
Syria than he is about fixing our own myriad problems in the USA
Syria...and MOST of the NSA stuff is misdirection by Obama and his media. The big scandal that the MSM does NOT want to cover is the weaponization of the bureaucracy against conservatives.
It’s what “immigration reform” is about too...flood the southwest with voting Mexicans, gerrymander the House, and bye-bye GOP.
It’s very clear what they are up to.
Now that obumbler corruption is front page news, why are we not questioning the part Chuck Hagel’s voting machines played in an election about which most of us have a lot of questions?
[[Syria...and MOST of the NSA stuff is misdirection by Obama and his media.]]
I’m increasingly coming ot the point where I truly beleive he likes civil war- he’s tryign to start one here in USA and he’s funding one in Syria now- He’s just announced that he’s wagign war on energy/power businesses in the name of golbal wamring- and that he’s goign to ram through coutnry destroying regulations i nthe name of global wamring
Scandalanch with a “registered R” after it
Is that like the “Lets get Ready to Rumble “ thing? I Gotta pay if I say it?
Curious is all
I love that web site, and this particular issue is a classic.
I’d like to see a complete analysis of all computer or network related problems in the last election. I think there was a lot of flat-out tampering going on.
I know here in my county, the list of county-approved GOP poll watchers and their assignments mysteriously disappeared or at any rate was corrupted to the point of unusability - on the county system used by the Supervisor of Elections. It made it impossible for us to get all polls covered by GOP poll watchers, particularly those in the most fraud-prone areas, and also prevented poll-watchers from calling into the GOP central headquarters where other people were going to do GOTV calls for registered GOP voters who hadn’t shown up at the polls.
The destruction of the database was obviously meant to protect Dem fraud and also to suppress the GOP vote.
The local GOP was going to sue the Supervisor of Elections, but it was obvious that she had nothing to do with it.
Oh Nooooeees...It's a Scandalanch!

Gunny, you probably won't believe this, but NOBO2012 finally posted a comment. Read it, misspelling and all, here
I don’t think it counts as a comment, being the first on the thread and made basically to himself.
It fails the “interaction” portion of the commenting criteria.
