Just found out this afternoon that my wife's 23 year old son (my stepson) died in a fire last night over in Mississippi. She is distraught, of course. I ask that you pray for us. Thank you.

Lord God, source and destiny of our lives, in Your loving providence You gave us a son to grow in wisdom, age, and grace. Now You have called him to Yourself. We grieve over the loss of one so young and struggle to understand Your purpose. Draw him to Yourself and give him full stature in Christ. May he stand with all the angels and saints, who know Your love and praise Your saving will. Amen.

OMG I’m so sorry to hear this. Just got online today late afternoon to read this. There are no words or action on this Earth to ease the family pain. I do though want all of you to know that your stepson is in a better place, he is OK. I shall keep you all in my prayers and that God places his arm of comfort and strength in these difficult times.
