A newborn infant has been rescued from a toilet pipe in eastern China after being allegedly flushed down by his parents.
Firefighters plucked the baby boy from a pipe section right under the toilet commode. The pipe was cut away piece by piece to reveal the screaming newborn, who was wedged in tight.

They appreciate what they have and are likely traumatized. No they won’t talk. It was a rhetorical proposal meant to point out the situation.
The London and Russian papers point out what’s going on.
We should know.
It’s been going on for thirty years.
Some expect their population to drop dramatically.
But the misery and trauma are something we should be aware of.
Especially if we’re going to judge the actions of this woman.
Here, women have abortions for convenience in most cases.
There, it is forced, in most cases.
I am amazed at the judgement here.
Do people here think this woman is going to go off with her boyfriend and do drugs or go to a spa?
That’s us.
In China, desperation is rampant. Women have sophie’s choices routinely. Should I let the govt agents come in and kill my baby or give it a chance in a sewer?
Now they’re going to find her and we’ll not be interested in her story or how they kill her or put her in jail for life, she’ll have served her purpose for us, alleviating our guilt.

Fishy? I doubt it. Who’s to say the baby was full term? Lord knows women in China don’t receive world-class prenatal care, so perhaps the child suffered from intrauterine growth retardation and was small for gestational age. There is photographic documentation as well.
I understand that sometimes the horrible evil of this world is almost surreal & hard to believe. But this type of wickedness certainly happens, and it happens in the U.S. more than you’d think.
Gosnell did this in Philly. There was a plumber who testified he had to unclog the toilet once a week by removing all the dead babies.
Now that is one, cute little baby boy. Shame on those parents. How horrific. I hope that little boy didn’t ingest anything while in there. Thank God he was retrieved safely.
Well, you do make some good points.
The reason I said what I said regarding those who flushed the baby is because looking at the poor baby so confined in that pipe is just incredibly infuriating and sad.
Looking at that picture makes me shake my head in disgust at humanity, but at the same time I am also very happy that that same humanity recued the baby.
As a species though we have allowed ourselves to do some things that are so horrific and atrocious that sometimes I find I wish I was something other than a human being.
Ugh.

The publishing of that photo is supposed to make you feel like that. And to blame and hate the mother.
But when you realize how much motherhood is hated in this country it becomes apparent that the culture wants us to forget that.

DSHS became aware of the allegations after Operation Rescue released a report containing the staffers’ testimony and photos. The cellphone photos the staffers provided the pro-life group with seem to back up their gruesome claims.
“The photos show babies that are huge, with gashes in their necks, indicating that these babies were likely born alive, then killed, just as Kermit Gosnell did at his ‘House of Horrors’ clinic in Philadelphia,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.
“In fact, there are numerous similarities between Karpen and the Gosnell case, including the disregarding of complaints by the authorities that allowed both men to continue their illegal operations,” he added.

It’s worldwide. Keeps the rabble down, out of cultured sight and prevents it from rising to compete. The worthy folks in charge love the Renaissance more than any other period of history (see renaissance courtly filth), so they’d like to see the world population limited to about 450 million or so. They don’t want to build onward and upward, so they make claims about the world running out of water and the like.
She could have sold the baby. A male baby is worth more, but even a female baby is worth something, because the one-child rule doesn’t apply to adoptees. Heck, she could have left the infant at someone’s door. What a crying shame...
Kermit Gosnell?
PP probably looks like your kids’ dentist compared with the Chinese govt.
Weirdly enough, that applies to Gosnell's victims, too. Plenty of parents out there who want new-born babies to adopt. What a waste...
This just erodes my faith in the human race.
My prayer is that this baby boy grows up and rises to some sort of leadership position in China ...or in the world. People need to speak out about the lack of value for life ACROSS this world ...
