You won't believe how much has changed since then. Notice anything peculiar (other than the fashions) in some of these photos? (Many photos at link)

Two peculiar things, people don’t smoke in the mall anymore and now way some of those photos are from summer given the heavy jackets some people have on.

“Mall bangs”. That’s what my daughter’s called them. Of course, they also had them!

Looks like the mall, the last time I was in one, which may have been 1990.

Yeah, it's either Roosevelt Field Mall or Green Acres in NY
The last pic on the bottom to the entrance of Sears makes me think it's the Green Acres mall.

I miss big hair on women. For that matter, I miss young women that actually look like women. These days, so many of them look like Satanic nightmares, I don't even want to look at them long enough to determine
what they are.

Not many tatoos— although some of those pics were taken in cool weather dates.

I have a habit of going to the gym late at night. (We’ve got a great 24 hour club here.)
I like not having the crowds and the distractions.
Last night there were only three of us in the weight room. After a few minutes I noticed I was the only one moving from machine to machine.
You guessed it! The other two guys were sitting on their exercise machines, either surfing or texting. I watched for a minuter or two, but realizing that I was a sixty-something watching a couple of twenty-somethings, I just gave it a sigh ..... and moved on.

I miss a lot of that stuff. ‘Definitely took it for granted. One of the fashions I miss in particular was girls wearing shirts that were too big for them. This was everywhere among teenage girls especially.

Nope, this is definitely the Smith Haven Mall in Smithtown, NY.

Smoking — I remember my eyes burning at the mall. When they stopped smoking, my eyes stopped burning. The funny thing is how many people will hate me for saying this.

If you were born in '60, my father was born in '54 and my Mother was born in '56.
So that should make you feel better 2DV.
