Thanks for the update! We’re hanging in there with Carlo!
Glory to God for all good things!
Great news - thanks for sharing it. Continuing in prayer for Carlo.
I have a strong feeling, backed up with prayers, that you dad will come out of this just fine. Tell him we need him here, please.
Blessing to all your family.

Been out of town and away from my ‘puter for over a week.
Prayers offered up to Our Great Physician that He will indeed provide comfort and healing for Carlo B.
Praying for a good report!
They had to take Carlo back to surgery on Tuesday to clean out an infection. That was successful, but the pneumonia is still a major concern. They have him on the strongest antibiotic there is and hopefully that will take care of the pneumonia.
This is the latest report from his daughter Jennifer yesterday afternoon:
Today has been a really confusing day! I went in early this morning, and the first thing I was told, was they want to keep the ventilator in because he may need another surgery!!! The nurses were very nice, and they politely told me that if I wanted to know more I would have to speak to the surgeon, so they called him and I waited as patiently as I could. While I was waiting I called my sister and brother. Patience is basically non existent in this Italian family! You guys know our father, I need not say anymore!! We were all in panic mode! Finally my brother Mathew took the bull by the horns and went straight to the patient advocate office, who then arranged a meeting with the head of ICU, all of the Doctors and nurses. Come to find out the surgeon that I had been waiting to hear from is on vacation and won't be back until the 9th of April! Well Mathew was not going to accept any of that! So to make a long story short, they will be weaning him off of the ventilator! When that is finished my Dad will be able to communicate and help us with future decisions! If he is not able to do that, we have a plan in place to transfer him to the medical center in Houston, where they are much more equipped to handle all of my Dads needs!Waiting to hear from his daughter to find out how he's doing today. Please keep Carlo and his family in your prayers. He's not out of the woods yet!
Thank you for the updates.

Continued prayers for Carlo.
Prayers continue that Carlo be healed and be able to go home soon.
Wow.... thanks so much for the update, but oh my gosh!! April 9th!! Shakes head.
I am so glad to hear that his folks are squeaky wheels!
Prayers continuing, for Carlo and for his family, friends, and that Our Heavenly father would inspire the medical team to action!

Thank you for the Carlo update. Prayers continue for God’s supernatural healing touch, protection and peace for Carlo...and family ;)
Anyone who has spent time in a hospital in critical situations can relate to this. Someone must be prepared to advocate for the patient. Sounds like the brother took that on.
It can be a bewildering experience. Never go in without your advocate in place.
Biting my tongue re: doctor, etc. and remembering some of my Italian ancestors' hand gestures. ;-)
Prayers up. God bless.
I am so glad SOMEONE got to the patient advocate. Sometimes the squeaky wheel does get greased. He’s fortunate to have an assertive family looking out for him.
Prayers will continue for a full recovery and thanks so much for the update.
Thank you for the update. Prayers continue for Carlo and Family.
Good for Mathew! I bet the staff will be on their toes with him asking questions. I pray that our good Lord will also keep them on their toes as He leads them. Gentle hugs to Carlo.
