Nully is my best friend (except for the aforementioned sweetheart) and I treasure his opinion. He didn’t have a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g to say about my offensive post. So I knew I wasn’t in the right!

There was a period toward the end of the primaries when not one negative word against Newt was allowed. If you had posted your comments during that time you would have been purged. I don't have the links to the purge threads but it did indeed happen.

That was a great chant, and it never failed to get attention and lots of laughs!

I use to enjoy it when we had a booth at CPAC and would see all the great conservative activists. Unfortunately the DC Chapter couldn’t afford the cost of the booth after a few years. I met Michael Galutia (sp>) at the first two and got to know him. He was an original FReeper and one heck of a good guy. Unfortunately, he had to step out because he was just too busy.

Dr. Raoul was a very secretive peron. He would never let us know his whole name — except for a first one, if I remember. I once picked him up on my way driving to DC and he mentioned a wife — who never knew of his political involvement. Separated?

LOL! We use to think that those Clinton years were the worse this country had — and it WAS bad then. But I couldn’t even imagine that we would be in the state we are now! Where would we be without places like FR and the conservative web sites? I shudder to think of it!

It's a matter of perspective.

If a poster hated Gingrich, Zots were the fault of Gingrich supporters.

If a poster hated Palin, Zots were the fault of Palin supporters and so on.

The problem with this is that some of the comments were SOOOO nasty that they were removed when a Zot occurred.

Zots were the fault of the poster that was zotted and no one else. Each of us is responsible for our own words. Blaming someone else has become very popular and is a cultural flaw in our current liberal society. No one takes responsibility for anything. It's always the "other guys" fault.

Look at this thread. How many have stated that their friends were zotted because they were baited? Those posters chose to respond angrily and/or cross the line in some fashion. They made a choice
