My wife and I homeschooled our children...

Each state only needs to do a couple of things...

1. Set educational standards

2. Make sure every kid is being educated...

The rest belong to each school district and the parents...

Washington DC should have nothing to do with education...at all..

Meanwhile, at the other end of the public school experience we find FAFSA , Free Application for Federal Funds. Get your loan here for college for a mere 6+%, a figure that is going up in the future to possibly 14%.
EVERY High School student must fill out an application. Principal’s evaluation depends on this, and yes they can track this.
Don’t want to go to college, plan on enlisting, dropping out ,illegal alien...ALL MUST FILL OUT THE FAFSA.
Federal dollars at 0% loaned out at 6+%. Good deal for the feds. Bad deal for the students who can access the funds via their PIN #.
This is somehow linked back to funding Obama Care. Not sure just how but will find out in time.
