When They Come For Your Guns, You Will Turn Them Over

When they come for my gun, they will have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands, is a common refrain I often hear from the Neo-Cons when there is a threat, credible or otherwise, that the US government is going to take their firearms.
And, when I hear this crazy talk, I agree with them openly. You are right. They will pry your gun from your cold dead hands, which I often follow with the question, And where will that leave you except face down in a pool of your own blood [in] the middle of the street, just another dead fool resisting the State?
This is not a question they are comfortable with, if only because the intent of their saber-rattling was to imply they would fight to keep their weapons, and win.
Nice fantasy. Its not happening.
If the federal government decides to disarm the public, and when the increasingly-militarized rolls down your street after a not-so-subtle request that you kindly turn over your firearms and ammunition for the common good, it will be nothing less than suicide by cop to do anything other than what you are told.
The militarization of US police forces is ongoing and escalating. Many cities and towns now own tanks, armed personnel carriers, even attack helicopters, and almost all are outfitted with military weapons not available to the general public.
And, it is not just your hometown cops who are getting new boy-toys. The military itself is buying up weaponry not just for use in the current or next scheduled war, but to deal with the likes of you, ..

You are right, some will be given outs... and they should be taken.
However, they will consider from here on out, gun confiscated or not, that every house has a gun potentialy, and the swat teams will grow in arsenal no matter what.
See this is what you don’t get. Once I become a outlaw livin actually gets easier. Today I am lawbiden citizen tomorrow I don’t give a damn how I come by it.
would the media be the first targets? if it ever really really really really went over the top to the blue helmet point of no return. Is anyone in the MSM “safe”? advertisers who support the MSM?
remember cable tv would be gone, satelite tv would be gone, all that would be left would be perhaps digital tv and regular radio. internet would be going fast.
I like the way you Bama boys think
If you're going to die, die fighting for Freedom, and take as many of them with you. It's better to die in a firefight than it is being slowly waterboarded and electrocuted in a FEMA camp.
How sad that our nation has come to this: When Liberty is openly mocked and flaunted, the Constitution spat upon and ignored, when a citizen can no longer go about his or her daily business without being in violation of some hidden, selectively prosecuted law, when the ruling elite are excused from those same laws, when hard work and virtue is punished and every expression of sloth and vice is rewarded.
When the government takes everything away, there's nothing left to lose except your honor. And if you don't have honor then you're probably better off meekly climbing into an armored DHS wagon, being driven to a collection site at the rail station where you'll be shackled into a railcar and free to enjoy your life behind razor wire.
Sorry. Old habit."
I told her not to pay attention to the gun grabber politicians demonstrations, but she is still learning.
Watch the movie “For Greater Glory” to find out how brutal the government will become when it’s time to enforce their law that strips away a human right.
It happened in Mexico in the late 1920’s when the government outlawed church meetings and made public profession of faith illegal. The resulting resistance took 90,000 lives on both sides before an acceptable compromise was reached.

Note to Karger: The postmodern liberals are the gods of “cut and run,” which they cleverly rename “redeployment.”
All it takes is a week or two of resistance, a couple of deaths for the state, and the game’s over.
But if Karger wants proof, I invite him to be in the front lines when the confiscation begins.
Anyone that can fill a bikini out that nicely has potential worth exploring.
It’s almost a meme for those who hang out on gun boards. That whole “keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot” thing.
That, and people having their feet visible in shots they take of they latest project firearms. Not sure why that bothers some folks...
For that to happen a dictatorship would have to be established with full control of the armed forces. Which would mean a civil war before authorities start going door to door. In the current state of affairs, as big a socialist as Obama and his cohorts are, the authorities will not be going door to door.
And if there is some kind of civil uprising, I’d be very surprised if a majority of armed forces personnel and police do not side with the constitutionalists i.e. patriots. People like Mr. Karger might have reason to leave the country or face the ahem consequences.
It would be recorded for all to see, safe to say.
Just a few days ago there was a gun show in Albany, New York (of all places).
The state police were at the entrance to the show. In order to get in folks had to produce ID (driver’s license), which the police took and scanned, then returned to the individual. Just to get in.
Now — what are they going to do with that information that they’re collecting?
OK. So back to reality...
When confiscation begins, it is time to use them. Perhaps not at the instant you are being accosted by gun grabbers, but the time to fight starts at that point.
If it’s your neighbor who’s being targeted, grab your gear and your nearby friends and counterattack from their rear.
To stand and fight them at your door is the way to lose the battle as they have then defined the conditions of combat. The good guys must define the conditions not those that would disarm us.
I stand corrected. Mr. Karger has already left the country. Good riddance.
