APOLOGIA: I intended to post this as a comment to another post, but reconsidered and decided to post what follows on my own. I hope that Jim and the rest of the Merry Bande of Freepers will pardon the creation of a vanity thread, though vanity has nothing to do with it. I hope to foment discussion on this issue…and, perhaps, revolution.
We Will NOT Obey!
This sordid, criminal administration is forcing its version of change, of transforming the essence of America, down our unwilling throats. In conscience, by all that we hold dear about this grand experiment in freedom and liberty called the United States, we cannot, we must not, and we WILL NOT obey. If disobeying unjust laws is criminal, then criminals we must become. We Will NOT Obey!
When the President flouts the Constitution, the legislative powers of Congress, and the people’s will, and rules by fiat and Executive Order, in the same manner as any of his fellow third-world thugs and dictators, his rule in illegitimate, not to be enforced, not to be obeyed. We Will NOT Obey!
When religious institutions are ordered to violate their fundamental beliefs, and pass out free abortifacients and contraceptives, or appoint and dismiss their ministers and priests subject to government oversight and regulation, We Will NOT Obey!
When we are compelled against our will to purchase goods and services we do not need or want, like mandated health insurance passed without our consent in the dead of night, we must resist. We will NOT pay fines and penalties for not participating in ObamaCare. We Will NOT Obey!
When our inherent right to protect ourselves and our property are subjected to the capriciousness of government whim, we have lost the very means of protecting that most fundamental of rights, our right to life. We must not relinquish that upon which all other rights are founded. We Will NOT Obey!
When quasi-fascist organizations like the EPA use brutal threats and intimidation to prevent landowners from making use of their hard-won property, we must stand our ground against the jackboots, and tell them to get off our land…or Else. We Will NOT Obey!
When an illegitimate president purports to be our country’s highest elected official, our Commander-In-Chief, despite the fact that his father was of British nationality, he is not a natural-born citizen of these United States as mandated by the Constitution. When this usurper sends our young and brave off to fight illegal wars in support of his Muslim Brothers, we will not go, we will not follow illegal orders. We Will NOT Obey!
When this administration demands that we not enforce duly enacted laws, from ignoring illegal immigration status to undermining the Defense of Marriage Act, we must take a stand as citizens and, if necessary, enforce the law with our own hands, through the powers of Citizen’s Arrest and Grand Juries. We Will NOT Obey!
When an imperial judiciary attempts to seize power from the citizens, imposing their own prejudices on the people rather than enforcing the laws under which we the people choose to be governed, we will not follow their mandates, we will not allow free citizens to become their slaves. We Will NOT Obey!
When laws are passed that force discrimination and unequal treatment based on race, or sex, or income, or any other invidious category, we have descended to the lowest forms of injustice and iniquity. Laws that violate our God-given rights as equal citizens before the law are unconstitutional on their face and by their very nature, despite what some judicial masters may claim. We Will NOT Obey!
When our livelihoods and property are stolen, via judicial legerdemain or brute force, from the rightful owners and given, by political fiat, to favored cronies, the connecteratti and presidential “buddies,” we must resist with all our might, and guard our rights and our properties whatever the cost. We Will NOT Obey!
When government commands us to permit the slaughter of the most innocent of us all, and forbids us from protesting this evil murder lest we be jailed, we have become little better than Nazis following orders. We Will NOT Obey!
Our Founding Fathers gave their lives, their fortunes, their sacred honor to establish this nation. Can we do less?
I stand with you, the author and the FRiend.

Those that take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution and then work to subvert it should never be obeyed.

The men assembled in a small room in Philadelphia on a warm afternoon and started writing the Bill of Rights. Ben Franklin wondered off toward the window, opened it and lit his pipe. John Adams was at the table and said that he wanted the right to a free press, in order to keep the government honest. Washington asked for the right to assemble.
Hamilton wanted to allow everyone to worship in the way that they thought was right.
Paine wanted to petition the government for redress.
Franklin started laughing quietly but was overheard by his friends.
John Hancock climbed out of his chair at the table and called to Ben and asked him to come and join them, to help write this document-—and what is so funny?
Franklin blew smoke out of the window, turned toward his friends and said “Do you know what’s gonna happen when King George sees this document that we’re writing?”
Thomas Jefferson nodded silently, dipped the quill back into the ink bottle and started writing: “Second Amendment, right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed…”

Wish we could no obey but we will be forced to or jail/fine. Don't pay the fine and what is left, jail. Communists America is here.

Good sentiments and I DO agree.
His proposals are small right now and they do not directly affect any of you. They go to your Dr.s and they carve out for themsleves another exemption to HIPPA: that worthless piece of privacy “protection” that was always about stripping your privacy.
Do NOT answer any of your Dr.’s questions about any “social” issues. if a simple “no” or “none of your business”does not suffice, be more forceful. [I have tried this with somethings like when a dr asks for a ss# and usually you don’t have to “comply”.]
But beyond those feeble measures, we hold the House. We have got to hammer on our own party heads to stand and remain strong against this cretin.
I know I have e-damn-nuff. He counts on us “being reasonable” and depends on our willingness to obey the law. When the laws are patently illegal, I just quit and have no interest in obeying.
When your Highest Court cannot bring itself to strike down a horrendous piece of legislation and argue that its their job to figure a way to make it pass constitutional muster then indeed we are lost as a Republic.
I no longer feel as bound to follow such tortured reasoning which ironicly becomes the law of the land.
We are everywhere.
