To this we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor, as great men have before us, and will after us, to keep alive the Tree of Liberty.

Those that take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution and then work to subvert it should never be obeyed.

The lawful Republican form of Democracy created by the founding fathers is being dismantled by would-be dictators. We are witnessing an internal coup. It is unlawful to advocate the overthrow of government, but is it unlawful to advocate the overthrow of usurpers?

The men assembled in a small room in Philadelphia on a warm afternoon and started writing the Bill of Rights. Ben Franklin wondered off toward the window, opened it and lit his pipe. John Adams was at the table and said that he wanted the right to a free press, in order to keep the government honest. Thomas Jefferson grabbed a quill, dipped it in the ink bottle and started to write.

Washington asked for the right to assemble.
Hamilton wanted to allow everyone to worship in the way that they thought was right.
Paine wanted to petition the government for redress.

Franklin started laughing quietly but was overheard by his friends.

John Hancock climbed out of his chair at the table and called to Ben and asked him to come and join them, to help write this document-—and what is so funny?

Franklin blew smoke out of the window, turned toward his friends and said “Do you know what’s gonna happen when King George sees this document that we’re writing?”

Thomas Jefferson nodded silently, dipped the quill back into the ink bottle and started writing: “Second Amendment, right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed…”

Good sentiments and I DO agree.

His proposals are small right now and they do not directly affect any of you. They go to your Dr.s and they carve out for themsleves another exemption to HIPPA: that worthless piece of privacy “protection” that was always about stripping your privacy.

Do NOT answer any of your Dr.’s questions about any “social” issues. if a simple “no” or “none of your business”does not suffice, be more forceful. [I have tried this with somethings like when a dr asks for a ss# and usually you don’t have to “comply”.]

But beyond those feeble measures, we hold the House. We have got to hammer on our own party heads to stand and remain strong against this cretin.

I know I have e-damn-nuff. He counts on us “being reasonable” and depends on our willingness to obey the law. When the laws are patently illegal, I just quit and have no interest in obeying.

When your Highest Court cannot bring itself to strike down a horrendous piece of legislation and argue that its their job to figure a way to make it pass constitutional muster then indeed we are lost as a Republic.

I no longer feel as bound to follow such tortured reasoning which ironicly becomes the law of the land.

Ok. A lot of justifiable anger being expressed here. But anger expressed on a website does not equate to action.

Just saying “WE WILL NOT OBEY!” may make us feel better, but it doesn’t DO anything. What are we going to do??

There are a couple of issues. 1) Does an Executive Order issued by the POTUS equate to the law of the land, or is it simply an order that affects the agencies of the federal government? If it has the effect of law (and was always intended to have the effect of law) why have we wasted billions upon billions of dollars funding Congress??? Just give the dictator his due and be done with it. 2) If the political elites surround any of the Amendments with so much garbage as to make the original intent null and void while giving it the appearance of still having meaning, do we still have any Rights?? Obviously, the answer is no. Zero and the political elites know that if they just strike down the 2nd Amendment, we will get angry (but, will we take action?). But, if they load up compliance with those Amendments with so much frivolous paperwork and procedure as to make the EXERCISE of that Amendment a veritable waste of time and effort, are our rights still guaranteed?? And, if we sue in court to have the garbage overturned, will the court acknowledge that we have standing to bring such an action?

Politicians and the left understand one thing - if we want to get their attention, we HAVE to TAKE TO THE STREETS EN MASS!! Making empty threats about elections and sending them nastygrams doesn’t make NEARLY as much of an impression on the political elites as few million of their constituents gathering in the streets to protest!!

So, while I respect your manifesto and agree with the principles stated therein, there MUST BE a CALL TO ACTION!!!

Our Constittion is under a full frontal attack. A friend sent me the following modification to "The Pledge..."

The Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge Allegiance to the flag and to the Constitution of the United States of America and to the Republic for which they stand, one nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.

The 20th century was disastrous for the USA. Marxism moved in incrementally and because it didn’t appear to be bothering the majority of us, we did nothing. We saw what happened to Ruby Ridge and Waco, to the native American reservations, the Japanese, etc., and we sort of felt that it was not our problem, or that the ‘good’ people in government would act to make things right. It didn’t happen, of course, so now we have 2 parties that are on the same path to full Marxism. One slower than the other, to be sure, but both are headed that way. The problem is to whom do we turn to lead? I doubt that we could agree on as few as 2-3 people because the media has tarnished our best so that many of us believe the lies, as well. Problem is: there are NO PERFECT PEOPLE. We are going to have to look carefully at those who are speaking out, those who are standing up, and try to rally support behind them. I’m for a new political party, myself. The GOP seems to have made irrevocable agreements with the democrats over the years. The dems don’t hold to them, but we are forced to or they take to the public and decry our breaking their trust. Our side doesn’t do the same. I know they have no stomach for it...and to honest, most of us would not. However, the time has come to stand up and be counted. If we do not, we are essentially saying that we either don’t care, or that the issue is not worth it. At what point does it become?

Obama is prodding, provoking a fight...not with the GOP, but with law-abiding citizens. He wants US to cross the line first, draw the first blood, then he can say that his actions were necessary for the good of all. For the children, you know...the dems favorite political hide out. As Mark Levin says, among others (Rush, etc.) we have to be very cautious. We need to try to not break the laws of the land. Our action HAS TO BE in reaction to a deliberate act of lawlessness by the government. Yes, I know that they are being lawless right now, but it would not be in our best interest or favor to start shooting, or have an armed conflict over Obama’s WORDS. We need to start organizing a real lawful rebellion first.

All I’m saying is to be careful that you do not bring a swat team to your house in the middle of the night. And, by all means, let us keep our heads. We cannot be reactionary. That usually results in poor judgement and more harm done than good.
