I would like to enlist the services of the Prayer Warriors for the grandson of a little girl who lived in my neighborhood when I was growing up. She's obviously not so little now, but is in need of your prayers.

Keegan James Dondlinger was born yesterday, November 23, 2012, but was due March 4, 2013, three days after my own grandson is due. He weighed 1.85 lbs, but he looks very well developed for being so young and so little.

He's been able to open his eyes, and to grasp his mother's finger.

Here's a little look back on the occasion of our boy Keegan's second birthday. Montage from Keegan's Grammy Iris

I'd say that Super Keegan is doing pretty well these days. For which we can be very thankful... Remember on Thursday.

Our grandson Oscar, who is about the same gestational age although his birthday isn't until February, is doing well too. Picture below is a about a month old now, but I saw him this morning, and he looks pretty much the same. The day this picture was taken he was asked if he wanted to walk to the kitchen, or have Mommy carry him, he signed and said, "run". He's a card he is.

Keegan needs your prayers yet again: From his Grandma:

Tomorrow morning Keegan will be having surgery at Children's Hospital in Omaha. Prayers are appreciated. PM me if you would like more details. He should be home in time for Christmas.

The surgery is to expand his skull. His brain is getting too crowded in there. IIRC, his skull fused sooner and at a smaller size than is usual.

Almost forgot, here the now obligatory picture of Oscar (the anti-grouch). Taken just last week at the wedding of his Mom's 1st cousin, on board the Carnival Cruise Ship Triumph, then docked in Galveston.
