I would like to enlist the services of the Prayer Warriors for the grandson of a little girl who lived in my neighborhood when I was growing up. She's obviously not so little now, but is in need of your prayers.
Keegan James Dondlinger was born yesterday, November 23, 2012, but was due March 4, 2013, three days after my own grandson is due. He weighed 1.85 lbs, but he looks very well developed for being so young and so little.
He's been able to open his eyes, and to grasp his mother's finger.
Forgot to Ping everyone. Again.
And my goodness, what a handsome dormouse.
And I am quite sure that the White Queen and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum will be just as attractive.
The dinosaur is quite fetching as well!
Congrats to the twin who won her wrestling match...very cool, by the way.
BTTT
They are sooooo cute! And those dimples of Keegan’s!...to die for! Thanks for sharing! :)
Thank you for the update and the pics of the VERY handsome boy!!!
She and her twin are looking forward to their birthday party tomorrow. They turned 6 earlier in the week.
Last evening they attended a Veteran's day muscial presentation by their Big Sis's class. The kids sand some very difficult numbers, and sang them well.
Big Sis, the amazing Miss V, got a huge smile on her face when they asked all the veterans to stand, and I stood. She was looking at me.
God bless the little one.
But last Saturday, I was in Keegan's town, my home town too, and met with his Grandma and Grandpa. He's doing well, beginning to eat "solid" food. Still doesn't want to lay on his tummy.
It's reported he is very stubborn. He'll make a great FReeper one day. :)
Here's the best of the recent pics.
It's also been revealed that his new sibling is a girl, her name is still under wraps though.
Oscar, my grandson, has been eating "real" food for some time now. I'm in his town today, and I saw him last night. He's working on sleeping all night, and also trying to crawl uphill, and succeeding. He's so proud of himself.
May God bless Keegan.
WTG, Keegan....you’ll figure out how to use that spoon. And it tastes much better with something on it.
Lookin’ good, Oscar, with that crawlin’ stuff. Keep up the good work.
BTTT
Thanks for the pics.
Both lads look to be doing quite well.
As a side note one of my neighbors had a premie little girl some years back. IIRC she weighed in about Keegan’s size. Fast forward 16+ years and she is quite the lovely young lady.
Go Keegan, go Oscar!
Regards

Always enjoy your pictures!!! Adorable!!!
Well it’s about time you gave us our updates. Keegan looks like he is doing GREAT! Stubborn? Isn’t that a prerequisite for being an adult? Go Keegan.
Gooooooooooo Oscar! No mountain too high for this one. What a grin to boot. Squeezeablility in abundance.
Hanging head in shame
Here's a pic of Keegan, his cousins, his parents, his aunts and uncles, his Grandma (Iris) and Grandpa (Mike) AND most notably his Great Grandpa (Paul).
Not many little boys get to know their great grandpa, but these three will. They have at least one living Great Great Uncle too.
Keegan's baby sister, who has now been in the oven longer than he was, is now called Genevieve
And because I was bad, a second picture of The Man known as Keegan:
What a grin to boot. Squeezeablility in abundance.
Oscar is the grinningest little guy I've ever seen.
He's now routinely pulling himself up to stand and walk around things, as is Keegan.
Oscar's not yet tall enough to bump his head. He will be sooner rather than later, and he'll have to learn about that.
That "Hound of the Baskervilles" looking creature is Mr. Mortimer. He's actually our dog, but is staying with Oscar right now. He's great wit Oscar, lets him grab his fur, pull his tail and climb over him. When Mort gets tired of playing, he just goes and hides, or goes outside through their dog door, which Oscar hasn't figured out yet... but he will.
OK that update was well worth the wait! Love the family photo...all handsome men and lovely ladies. Warms the heart just to view it. 8D
Keegan is looking so good and so darned happy...gotta love it.
Lil sis Genevieve...what a wonderful choice of a name. So fun to say too. I look forward to the nick names the two young lads come up with for her. lol
Oscar...my goodness...what can I say. Already pulling himself up...won’t be long now that he’ll have everyone on the run. Isn’t is neat how Mr. Mortimer knows Oscar is just a lil one and acts accordingly. I had a big dog that the kids could nap on...crawl over and generally turn into their gym. All the patients in the world...and like you said...once he’d had enough he just made himself scarce.
Thanks for brightening up my day. I look forward to the next installment. HUGS
Forgot the list.. again. I beg the distraction of being unemployed and having to spend hours combing through the results of my job search engines.
That and I was taking a break from that, and got in a hurry.
Thanks,
Can never have too many hugs, even virtual ones.
I particularly like “los abrazos virtuales” I get from our former exchange students who live in Southern Mexico. Two very different women those are, physically and politically.
