I hear you. I don’t eat them often, but man, when I want a treat, I love Hostess cupcake.
I am seriously thinking about buying a bunch and putting them away for ‘later.’ : )
I grew up with Tastykake, which also makes a tasty cupcake and now has a delivery service for folks outside their geographic area. I may have to place an order. I wonder how long this stuff lasts in food storage?
Whe wal mart in Canada was being forced to unionize, they just packed their bags and left...the canadian courts try to stop them from leaving....it didn’t work...they left..When a government is so arrogant as to tell someone they have to stay open, a spit it their face and a train ticket is all that is needed..
King Obama considering nationalizing Hostess but it must first get past Moochelle, the Queen of Vegetables.
I fear that I’ll probably be the last Twinkie. :o(
I feel really sorry for the gal who manages our local Hostess outlet. She works very hard, is friendly, and calls her customers by name. She doesn’t deserve to lose her job.
Who is John Galt?
Thank goodness you have such a long shelf life!
I've managed union work forces in manufacturing for many years. One thing for certain is that most of the rank and file are entirely and hopelessly clueless about the economics of running a plant. And union leadership is almost as clueless.
So the leadership is clueless, marketing talking points to the even more clueless. So 18,500 people lose a job. The union business model is broken and they don't even know it. Even thuggery can't outsmart economics in the long run.
And Hostess is punching that ticket, only, The Dhimmicrats are running the train and they decide if and when it leaves. Look back at the GM bailout.
They will probably demand new laws to create a new math. Wait, they tried that before.
