Not sure about that. Jesus did not offer us the best government ever or say He would ease our suffering in this world if we just repent and pray more. Jesus told us we would suffer. yes we should atone for our sins and pray constantly (including for our enemies) but it is also possible that our suffering will continue.
I hope you are not inferring that we have Obama because of our sin? This country and every country has always been infested with sin since Adam. Where there are men there are sinners and it has always been that way. Cheers.

That’s your opinion, and since you challenge my faith, I will just put you down as one of those strangers that claims no one but himself is a Christian because no one measures up to their definition.

I will not pray for the jackass, for Islam, nor any of the other deceitful jackwagons in Congress. I will, however, continue to pray for the aborted, the enlisted, and those of us fighting tyranny — our Country.
Pray for the enemy of Liberty and God all you want. I’ll pray for the good guys and the vulnerable.

Who and what I pray for is between me and God. The same goes for you.

I thought you believed in prophesy? No “best government ever” coming for this country till Jesus sets foot on this earth. From now until then it’s just going to get worse. Biblical prophesy comes first after all. Your modern day “prophets” don’t quite fit into what scripture teaches.

Nonsense. God is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Paul goes to great lengths to explain what has changed in the New Covenant in Hebrews 9:9-12, ff. God's attitude changes not, because he changes not. Jesus makes it very clear that he has not come to destroy the law and prophets, but to fulful.
No prophecy of scripture is of private interpretation. One cannot take one verse (or verves) and ignore others which apparently contradict. We need to read the whole Bible and reconcile all verses on this topic, otherwise such superficial treatment leads to false doctrine.
Psalms (even the imprecatory ones) and the Old Testament Law is God's word and still in effect, except the fulfillment described above in Hebrews.

I do not think Obama can be saved any longer. I think he is a reprobate whom God has given over. Roman's 1 bears testimony to the character of the reprobate whom God has rejected. This describes Obama to a T. It's too late for him.

I have just scratched the surface. Here are two sermons which address the full counsel of God, comparing scripture with scripture, showing that God is not contradictory when the Bible curses the wicked and God counsels us to pray for those who persecute the righteous.
