That's Lena Dunham in the ad. If you don't know who she is and what she does or if you don't like her, the ad will leave you cold.
And Lena Dunham fans or followers are a very small group. Most of her own generation doesn't know who she is, and of those who do, not everyone is a fan.
The other thing is that Obama's become like one of those television or movie characters that the writers assume that everybody's going to love. You know, the kind who's always mugging at the camera. And it gets awkward because so many people don't love or even like him now.
